Unfortunately this one turned out as I was afraid it would. The bad snap on the punt early in the first quarter that gave Letcher a saftey seemed to set the tone of the game. Letcher was much more ready to play. They dominated both sides of the line. Had the Southwestern coaches given up hope when they stopped putting anyone back to return punts. Both the players and coaches should share the blame. I really feel bad for most of the players, while they had a lot of tallent alot of other teams have a lot of tallent as well. I think one of the problems was they were led to think they were great before the season even started, not their fault. When you talk about all of the talent on this team I wonder why they were playing two freshmen at linebacker. While I'm sure these kids have a great future they were usually taken out of the play. It makes you wonder if the coaches had the right people in the right places. The same can be said about some other spots as well. Best of luck to the Seniors, I wish the season had turned out better, I'm sure you worked really hard. The Warrior football team has earned alot of respect over the years, it's sad to see what has happened in the last two years. I hope Coach A can make the necessary changes when he starts working on next year, and look back at what has caused the program to slide.

Your right Abner is actually averageing more than two yards per carry more than Hines yet Hines carries it more than twice as much. But I still don't think they can handle the Clay passing game.

Both teams like to run the ball and neither has much of a passing game or pass defense. This one will be won or lost in the trenches, who wants it the most and screw the excuses. If Southwestern leaves their D1 dreams and egos at home along with that idiot kickoff team coach they should win this one. Letcher has a better record but haven't played as tough of a schedule.

Clays passing will be too much for Pulaski. To stop Pulaski it's simple Hines will be running the ball. Clay by at least 14.

They have the right man under their noses in coach Allen.

Wayne by at least seven plus they are at home.

Estill should win this one. Somerset is a fast team but not very strong. Any team with a hard hitting running game can score on them. The key to stopping them is to stop their passing game.

Cobbs talent pool may be down some this year, he sure doesn't have a Cole on this team. However he has a lousey attitude, and likes to throw tempertantrums when things don't go his way. He needs to learn some sportsmanship.

Monroe should keep up their winning ways, if they can stay focused.

They should consider the new assistant coach Allen. He was at Southwestern for years and is an outstanding coach. They haven't played much defense since he left.

Danville by 50 the JV will get some serious playing time.

The Warriors gave the faithful something to cheer about. Maybe they can build on this going into the playoffs.

Pulaski takes on another team with a losing record. Time to pad some more stats.

The Warriors are selfdestructing on a weekly basis. Who is the idiot running the kickoff team. It's painfull to watch what's happening there. I know some of the GRC fans are unhappy with their program but not as unhappy as a lot of the Southwestern fans.

This should be a real battle similiar to the Monroe and Green County game. Both teams better show up to play. If they do, Monroe by 7.

Mercer had a total of 413 yards of offense and Southwestern had a total of 385 yards of offense. The same Southwestern player fumbled 3 times inside the six yard line, he's no longer in the backfield. There was a fourteen point difference.

Frankfort must be better than I gave them credit for, or is Danville slipping.

I would like to see a rematch between Mercer and Southwestern. No disrespect to Mercer but Southwestern beat themselves in that game.

I've got to admit I didn't think Rock had a chance in this one but they sure proved me wrong. I think both teams can go deep in the playoffs.

Somerset has a lot of rebuilding to do, no wonder Cobb was looking to move on a while back.

That needs to be banned in all games at all times, it's terrible sportsmanship. The coaches should be held responsible. And yes I've seen PC do it as well.

Mercer wins this one 28-14

Corbin wins big in this one. Somerset has trouble stopping the run and are not as good as in previous years.
