I've got to admit I didn't think Rock had a chance in this one but they sure proved me wrong. I think both teams can go deep in the playoffs.

That needs to be banned in all games at all times, it's terrible sportsmanship. The coaches should be held responsible. And yes I've seen PC do it as well.

God couldn't care less about capitalism or socialism and any one who thinks he does is an idiot. The only way greed could be considered a sin is if you put wealth ahead of him, but then alot of other things could just as easily be considered a sin. Whow fishing could be considered a sin or football or golf, we could go on forever with this. Having hard earned wealth is not any kind of a sin. In the old world you had to be born into rolalty to ever have a chance at a better life. The reason socialism has failed so bad is much the same reason. If your born into the right politics or can manuver into it you will do well. There is no hope for anyone else and they don't care if they show up for work or not. In a capitalist system every one has an opportunity to better themselves. True some start off in better shape than others. Capitalism takes advantage of everyones and I do mean everyones selfishness, the harder they work, the smarter they work in most cases the more they get. That's why even China has changed so much of their system and are enjoying such prosperity. It' also the main reason the iron curtain fell. All you have to do is study a little history.

Mercer wins this one 28-14

Corbin wins big in this one. Somerset has trouble stopping the run and are not as good as in previous years.

Just how does Corbin Match up to Ft Campbell, Monroe and Green County.

Danville wins this one by at least 2 TD.

I've watched Danville play this year and their passing game is awsome. Even though they lost two games this year don't be fooled. One loss was to GRC by three and I believe their hot shot back was healthy, he's a one man team that has missed some this year. The other loss was to a unstoppable Boyle County that is simply running over the big boys this year. Monroe and Green both look good but Danville is probably the team to beat.

Yea Mercer is for real.

They are not the only ones with problems. Campbellsville fired their head coach last week in mid season, which I have never heard of in high school. There is another one around that don't play defense since one assistant left and another came in, their whole program is sliding.

Hard fought game worth the trip, everything it was hyped up to be. Green got a break on their last TD, I was on the goal line and he never crossed the plane, but it doesn't matter now. I believe both teams left it all on the field. Both teams have a chance to fair well in the playoffs. With the exception of a couple interceptions early, Harlan impressed me at QB for Monroe. He seemed to run the option really well with some good pitches. I don't see how anyone could be suprised by this score, there was a lot of talk this week but it's settled now.

If he's going to Papa Johns Stadium he better worry about Danville.

The whole mess can be traced back to all the jobs lost and companies that have gone out due to the so called free trade. No one in this country can compete with someone working for fifty cents or a dollar an our. Thanks Bush.

Problem is the Bush free trade policy has drove the economy into the ground and doomed them.

This may be the upset of the week with Lincoln coming out on top. They may just getting it together and are better than their record indicates.

You ain't Danville

This is the first time I have ever heard of a high school coach being fired in mid season. I never had the pleasure of meeting the man but my heart goes out to him.

Humble pie has a bitter taste.

They haven't played a passing offense like South Laurel.

No one in that district is playing much defense this year, it seems all high scoreing games. This one won't be any different. It should be a similiar game to the South Laurel and Southwestern game. While Mercer is the clear favorite, my gut tells me an upset could be in the making.

With all due respect, against Pulaski the kicking team for Southwestern that gave up two touchdowns and allowed another return to the two had five freshmen on it that are no longer on the kickoff team.
