  1. Boomtown Biscuits and Whiskey is a really good new place within 2-3 miles of Ryle HS. Excellent cuisine and not your typical fare. BE has a lot to be proud of the way they won state last year. I’m expecting a great ball game. Safe travels.
  2. I would guess the large majority of BGP members are from NKY so a poll bias is normal when facing a team from elsewhere in KY. I would expect a close and hard fought game. If for some reason it’s not close, I expect it will be a fun night in Union.
  3. The Raiders are playing well at the right time. I look for them to handle the Chargers.
  4. I believe this will be a close game second time around. Dixie is capable of pulling the upset if they win the turnover battle. Crazier upsets have happened. Brach and Brody show will be fun to watch.
  5. Solid work by the Juggs!
  6. Congrats to the Raiders on taking care of business for their 5th straight win. Nice to be at home again next week hosting Bullitt East.
  7. I wonder if anyone from Fern Creek likes burgers? They are next in line for the Male Bulldogs.
  8. Excellent comeback win by Fern Creek. A third straight last-minute loss and fourth quarter meltdown for the Neers to end the season at 5-5.
  9. That's really nice to see from Dixie. Excellent job on the dominating win.
  10. Congrats to BE. Another heartbreaking loss for the Camels to end the season.
  11. If you haven’t seen the video about the mentalist visit to a Bengals’ team meeting, it’s worth the 5-minute watch. You get a good feel for team chemistry, too.
  12. I expect to see a heavy dose of Brach Rice when Dixie approaches the red zone. Should be quite a battle.
  13. Ryle / Campbell game was in Claryville.
  14. Just a WOW game. A 100% Joe Burrow for the first time. Beating a great football team on the road. Just WOW’n
  15. With the regular season behind us, what are you thinking about Top 10 in NKY. Using head-to-head results this year as the primary determinant to separate teams that could beat each other on a given night, here’s my list: 1-CovCath 2-Highlands 3-Beechwood 4-Ryle 5-Cooper 6-Simon Kenton 7-Dixie 8-Campbell Co 9-Lloyd 10-Conner Your thoughts?
  16. Ryle’s best game of the year as they dominated for the last 2 and 1/2 quarters. Dixie was leading 13-7 midway through the second quarter, but found themselves down 19-13 at the break. By the time Dixie scored again midway through the fourth quarter it was 47-13, 40 straight points for Ryle. Dixie continued to bring the house and Logan Verax kept burning them with some quick releases and great throws. Dixie’s only offense was Brach Rice with probably 200 yards on QB lead plays. Everything else was a disaster on offense for Dixie. I was shocked how long they took between plays. It hurt them not having Gregg because the passing game was woeful for the Red Colonels tonight. Ryle looked well prepared tonight and kudos to the Raiders for winning their fourth straight and moving to 6-4 as they prepare to host two playoff games. I’m glad we don’t have to face Brach Rice again. Great high school player!!
  17. Congrats to Ashland. Nice win. SK with two tough losses in a row.
  18. Great recap and what a game. Congrats to X and I couldn’t be any prouder of the Ryle Raiders.
  19. PRP has gone downhill during the season and I don’t see them as a top 10 team now. Bullitt East, Ryle, and Simon Kenton are tossup games and they should be 8,9,10 at this time. We will find out in week 2 of the playoffs when BE visits Ryle, assuming they beat Campbell Co at home in Round 1.
  20. Still chuckling about some of the pre-game comments. Great ending Friday night for the Raiders. The ultimate outcome was never in doubt - lol lol!!
  21. Close one in Edgewood that could go either way. If Gregg is limited, that will hurt Dixie. No sense playing an injured player that will be needed in the playoffs. Rice pounding the ball on QB lead would be tough to stop if Dixie goes that route. Ryle has been pass heavy most games.
  22. I would be surprised if SK is not in the 30s. Home field is probably worth a TD for Ashland. The game could go either way. I’ll take the Neers. If the final score is not close, it will be a fun bus ride on AA.
