Well, we're closer now to the beginning of the season and our Falcons are ready for some 3A football! Preseason BGP Ranking of 8th gets no arguments from me and I think they'll play better without the pressure. They've gained some size and some additions in the offseason. They've got about 18 seniors on the squad, most of who were here last season and still carry the disappointment of a 5-7 season on their shoulders. Attitudes are good, leadership is in place and we're all ready for some FC Falcon Football!! Later.

I can't speak for everyone, but Tim hydrated himself very well. He spent a lot of time in the sun during the summer prior to him going to heaven. There's really no place to point a finger and place blame anywhere. Later.

When Tim went to heaven, there were people that asked us if we were going to sue Coach Berner. The first time the question was asked, I answered respectfully....but I grew tired of it quickly. Later.

Team leadership from the players. No attitudes. The will to work hard, they can't give up. Realize that no one player is bigger than the team. Listen to the coaches. The season should be an interesting one. I'm curious about the schedule too. I have heard rumblings that they'll play nearby Clarksville High School.....but I'm not sure on many of the others. Glad that Tre Powell is getting some more playing time. Wish him and all of the KY players the best. Later.

Very true......but that was two years ago and both teams were drastically different than they are now. Don't get it twisted, I never said that Murray is not a good team. They took it to our Falcons.....and they played well. I just feel that OC is the better team, again.....if Murray pulls off the win, I'll come back and say that I was wrong. Later.

I just saw things on Friday that led me to believe if we could have passed the ball better, rather than run it.....we may have done MUCH better. Powell got open a lot and Swails had a pretty good game.....better than any other game in the weeks leading up to last Friday. History doesn't play into this game at all. What's been done in the past has no bearing on what happens this Friday. The games aren't played in the past. What OC did in '04 through '06 don't matter anymore. Later.

Murray is a tough team, make no mistake about that.....but I don't think that their one-dimensional offense and weak secondary can take the Aces. As a FC Falcon fan, I've seen both of these teams, and the Aces are the complete package and will move on to the next round. Later.

FC Fan. It was one FC Fan. I think I'm the only one that said it.....don't generalize and say it's the whole fanbase. Murray does play a weak schedule, but that didn't change anything that happened on that football field last night. The secondary last night, wasn't very good. Fort Campbell couldn't capitalize on it though due to the pressure your big D Line put on us. I think that OC can, and I think they will. If I'm wrong, I'll be the first to admit it. Later.

Fort Campbell just couldn't get things going in the second half. Not a huge amount of mistakes, Murray just pounded away and controlled the clock. I'm not sure they'll have the same success next week against OC. Murray has a weak secondary that Fort Campbell just couldn't take advantage of, OC can. Congrats to Murray. I'm proud of our Falcons for not giving up when things got tough. Later.
