  1. I would think with the success that Coach Warner has had over Coach Marksberry, that you may want to have him call over to Ryle for a few pointers.
  2. I'm shocked that NCC is having such a bad year to date. I can't remember the last time they've started out 1-3.
  3. I think HHS will win by the 7-14 point range but it will be a great game IMO. Northern Kentucky football is so much better when both of these teams are good.
  4. I think it's a complete toss up between Simon Kenton, Ryle and Campbell County. I think the Camels have been the least consistent, Ryle has played the toughest schedule with Simon Kenton the weakest schedule. I was thinking Simon Kenton would be a slight favorite but now I'm thinking Ryle is.
  5. They play them sometimes on 89.7 in northern kentucky which is NKU's radio station but no where else.
  6. Isn't Guru a Boone Grad? Maybe whats good for the Tiger isn't good for the Rebel. :idunno:
  7. That's not running up the score IMO unless you are throwing every down and calling timeouts to try and score more.
  8. They should pound them if possible, but if and when it is obviously out of hand the pounding should only proceed with the use of 2nd and 3rd team players with a liberal amount of handoffs.
  9. Call me Polly Anne but I don't believe in amature athletics it's ever ok to "run up the score". If you're in a league and getting paid with everything fair and equal then have at it but I don't think it can be viewed as a postive in this case. Besides if CovCath wants to maintain the support of Jesus over the public schools they better be careful. WWJD?
  10. 7 Male 5 Campbell County 3 Oldham County 2 Grant County 1 Lloyd Memorial TB Oldham County
  11. 5 Central 3 Simon Kenton 3 Campbell County 1 Boyle County 1 Anderson County 1 Ballard 1 Allen County-Scottsville 1 Butler County 1 Hazard 1 Mayfield TB 42
  12. He did start this week and he is closer to 6'4" and is around 270lbs although he may be up around 280lb this morning after the dinner I saw him put away last night.
  13. Nice win by SK, looks like I'll give them the nod for district favorites now.
  14. Simon Kenton by 3 only because they are at home. I think Holmes is more talented but SK has the numbers to wear them down. It will be a close game though.
  15. 7 Owen County 5 Walton Verona 3 Campbell County 2 Brossart 1 Kentucky Country Day TB Owen county
  16. Camels by 7 in a pretty evenly matched game.
  17. CovCath big, they are just too good for anyone in NKY to hang with besides the Birds.
  18. Agreed 6A schools shouldn't be barely scrapping by 2A schools 12-7 and a 1-A school 21-17.
  19. Boyle County is 1-2 plus that's a rivalry game that and we all know crazy things can happen. You may be right about the Camels Offense but as I recall SK couldn't pass or run in last years match up. Again if I remember correctly they couldn't even make 1st downs. No exceptional skill players, an ok QB and one good MLB isn't going to win the district.
