I believe Mercer had 9 seniors with 7 starting most of the time. The 09 team will be dominated be a good group of sophomores. Maybe now Mercer can get a full schedule with local teams and not just a single game when it's convenient!!!

Mercer will miss their two seniors from last year, but Mercer has plenty of talent. Coach Cundiff and coach Tatum are class acts, and are good coaches even with all the distractions that they are forced to deal with, hopefully the distractions will ceased to exist!!!

I agree with you on the player of the year but baseball may be his best sport! McCreary Central would have to be the favorite. Wayne County would be second only if they play all their games at home because the coach intimidates all refs that call there. Lincoln will have a nice club, and Spurlin will be the best senior but the senior class is way down . The reason Lincoln has been so good is they play as a team,and they were taught that way in middle school by the guy that helps with the girls team last year, I'm sorry but i don't know his name. West Jessamine has a good coach ,but who is this big time guard that is coming back? (were did he go) Boyle will have a tough year,they will miss coach Bottoms he held that bunch together.

Mercer will win big due to great defensive play of Reed, Horn, McCloud,Claunch and Coulter.

There are a lot of good sophmores but one of the best is Mercer County,s Clay Cinnamon. I think he was 3-1 as a freshman against tough teams, not gimmie wins. He also had a no-hitter against a strong Somerset team! He will through mid to upper 80's on a legit radar gun

Danville wins,Coach Harp will be the X factor,he has been involved in more big games!!

I agree with Maddog22, Dunn has put a end to the quarterback question. The reason Mercer's offense looked better was definately due to Dunn's smooth prescence,and the defence played well again,behind Tyler Horn who is a beast.

Mercer will get out coached again, just like last week. The Mercer coaches must be feeling the heat to start last year's quarterback instead of the one who should be starting,and that would be the Dunn kid,I hear he has a cannon for a arm!!!

Madison Central will win on coaching alone, but I hear Mercer has a new quarterback with a cannon for arm, maybe they can now throw the ball instead of always running the ball off tackle
