10 Good
  1. Mercer really got after it on the defense end and set the tone from the start. I though everyone played well for the Titans. Good win to get them back on track
  2. Mccloud was 2-5 against Burgin from 3 which is 40%. Not sure whats wrong with that.
  3. When mccloud came into the game in the 2nd half he hit two crucial threes that helped Mercer make a run. So im not sure how you can say he shouldnt be playing. He is a good ball handler and has good shooting ability which Mercer needed because no one else was hitting anything.
  4. I actually was very impressed with Penny's play. He is a very unselfish player and really looked to pass first. Yes, Yeast and Patterson were guarding him, but everytime he drove Mercer would collapse down.
  5. Both teams played with lots of heart. Congrats to the Titans
  6. Honchel was sick with a virus and didnt make the trip. Sagraves played well, didnt score but gave Mercer solid minutes. This was his very first varsity game so he probably was a little nervous.
  7. Yes the football players are practicing, but for some reason they are not aloud to play yet. Has to do with cuts not being made yet.
  8. 78-74 Mccreary in 2OT. Yes Watts played and played well, believe he ended up with 28. Mercer had the lead the whole game until late in the 4th it started going back and forth. Mercer played with no football players but looked very good none the less. I think Taylor for Mercer had 29 Dedman 18 and a good looking sophmore Cinnamon had 16.
  9. Mercer is still playing without the football players. This one I believe will go to Mccreary. Mercer is playing with 13 players 6 of which are sophmores.
  10. Mercer had a scrimmage against Nelson County. They lost the 1st quarter but won the next 3 easily. That was without the football players also. Dont know how strong Nelson County is though.
  11. I don't know about a blow out but I do think Southwestern wins this one 21-14.
