Anyone got any results, observations, comments about how 12th region teams have done in scrimmages so far?

Boyle County scrimmaged Montgomery County Tuesday evening. We lost the first 3 quarters to Montgomery County and won the last quarter. It is hard to give a good assessment as to how we looked because we have key players still playing football. I came away encouraged, but still unsure of how good we can be. Our student section is in midseason form though.

McCreary Central plays Montgomery later this year..

Too hard to tell. Their best player only played about 1 quarter and a half.

Didnt McCreary already have a scrimmage? How did that turn out?

They scrimmaged Garrard County. McCreary won 3 out of the 6 quarters pretty handily, but Garrard didn't show up till the 3rd quarter. Garrard won one of the quarters 20-10. But both teams showed their potential!

They looked very good without the football players who play B-ball including Watts and Roark. Make no mistake, these two kids will definately be a dominate force and then you add the point gaurd Wright into the mix and they will give everyone fits. So, trust me when I say this team will be a dominate force in the 12th region this year!.

Garrard County and Wayne County scrimmage Friday the 28th. Should be a nice matchup.

I know that Mercer Co. plays at McCreary Central to open their season on Dec. 2, I believe.

Mercer opens the season at McCreary and then plays Wayne Co. at home. Ouch! Not very good scheduling on Mercer's part if you ask me.

Yes, and the McCreary game will be on Tuesday, Dec. 2nd. That Friday, they will host Pulaski County.
