  1. CF comments make me believe that some may think "nasty" and "dirty" equivalent to "tough" or hard hitting. They do NOT ! Nasty and dirty are substituded for class...when it is lacking!
  2. Post #44 used the word "dirty" so my response was after that posting. Let's move on since PT is fine now and HHS is heading to # 21 !
  3. ok I finally saw the video on the game thread. The hit was not dirty, it was not really late, it was a blow to the head, but not intentional. IMO NOt sure if that should have been a penalty therefore, inconclusive evidence to overturn the 'lack of call' on the field. I just hope Towles is fine for next week.
  4. I see pictures but no video...where is the video link please?? NO matter what the video shows 'CF' makes a revealing statement of the type of man(human being) he is...
  5. I was wondering what happen last night with the long snaps. Is the injured long snapper going to be ok? what/when Happened to him? Without the long snap problem....completely diffferent score.
  6. no they are not. I read it as usual color commentary. They were just describing what sounded like a terrible snap.
  7. This is a sad situation. Sad for these boys who made a mistake with life long implications. High School memories are precious. I'm a HHS fan but I feel for the Elder boys. THe HHS boys better be ready though...Westsiders/Panthers are always ready to play. They are tough 'dudes' back ups or not.
  8. WOW! Way to go southern Campbell County !! All of Campbell County now rocks. This NCC and HHS fan always said the best county for football in Ky. was Campbell. THe north is cheering the south on to victory! :thumb:
  9. Not the most dominating because of how they struggled to win against Cov Cath. If/when that rematch happens, that will be an amazing game. I saw the first game. CCH matches well against HHS since CCh strength is their offensive line while HHS is small/quick and will be challenged to handle CCH up front(again). HHS use extra down lineman?
  10. memorable game for Dale and Gary would be the '72 game against #1 ranked St. X(Louisville). HHS won 10-7 but believe it or not it was not that close. X didn't pass HHS 30 yard line till a desparation pass as clock ran out. The ball deflected into the hands of X player lying on the ground. KP(fullback) had great time crushing their linebacker over and over as the "buck" and "guts" plays were called. OLD TIMERS aren't we now LOL :thumb:
  11. oh come on!! LMAO is this the place to express your socialist ideas!? Winners win... winners work(hard and harder) this is true in life and football! too many NOT working or trying to work, but "taking" in this society! Don't try to TAKE anything away from the work done by communities supporting the good programs around the state.
  12. "athlete" is used for political correctness too often. Silly how people don't look objectively at the talent of the athletes.
  13. no....bottom line... How is the kid taken to the hospital?
  14. Great Game and CCH won my respect. THe CCH offensive line was impressive. I never dreamed they could put up that many points on HHS. I have had the HHS player hurt in the endzone on my mind since the game ended. please someone tell me he is ok.....who was it? What was wrong?
  15. I agree....I hope they have no trouble 'stepping up' their level of play against Elder.....I'm not worried about them being ready for COV Cath next week.
  16. Don't worry about the facts.....poor KY Joe, can't find someone to change his diaper so he is always crying about something. :jump:
  17. Are you kidding me!? "just because he can" That statement is either an unsportsman-like, "hate speech"(for HHS), or shows some sort of cerebral deficiency. He, Dale, would love another team to replace this required game almost as much as Pendleton would love the chance to play another team they can be competitive with...
  18. Great adjustment by the reciever(#10) to make the one touchdown happen. Sometimes it is a great pass, but sometimes the catch makes the play.
  19. cute! one reason i love HS football ( i mean 'cute' the sign not what backs it up ) :thumb:
  20. Yeagle is not the issue. NCC is lucky to have this fine young coach and I believe they know that and Eviston can appreciate the how lucky he is to have this storied program to coach. I watched the game with Dixie. NCC has talent and athletes but it is so obvious how well coached this team is compared to other years. One could appreciate the play calling and how disiplined the players perform. I've watched HHS teams play more than NCC teams over the years but I noticed similar features of this NCC team to the way Mueller/Weinrich teams play. I mean this as a compliment to all three coaches. About the next 15 years: The Brossart program will dilute available talent for NCC. However, If I was a Campbell county parochial football player I'd chose Coach Eviston and NCC. The chance to play for a state title is special !!
  21. Why no thread about these two good teams playing Friday?
