Totally agree about the 37th district. With Scott, Brossart, and Campbell all in the same district one of the teams basically gets the short end of the stick. That district is by far the toughest in the region. It is a battle come district tourny time, and any two teams could advance, and the other one gets tough luck.

Butel sure can shoot! No doubt about that. With him on the outside, and Brian Romes slashing to the basket, could make a nice one-two combo. I believe that the only thing they really lack is an inside presence? Not sure about that though, does anyone else have more info?

Totally agree. Scott and Brossart can definetly compete and beat Campbell Co. We will just have to wait and see how things go!

Can I get some info on North Oldham? Such as starters, heights, positions, etc.

A fluke? Please get real. Scott's team that night came in with a chip on their shoulder from the 28 point loss they suffered from the Camels earlier in the season. CCHS came in thinking it would be an easy district championship. That is no such thing as a fluke. CC line up is pretty tall, two guys at 6'3" and two guys at 6'4". Scotts starting line up looks to be about the same. Scott's starting line up may look something like this: Daniel O'conner - 6'7" Nikola Gligorevic 6'4" Jake Niederreger 6'3" EJ Murray 6'2" and Nick Hiller 6'0". With that being said, I'm pretty sure that they would match up pretty good together.

Totally don't think Dixie should be ranked 10th, they lost Lawson, Kendal, Efflin Tyler, Luke Mace, Zac Ballard and maybe another one or two. They return a player who was hurt for most of last season, and a 6th man. I don't know how they are ranked 10th? :confused:

Dixie returns Mitch Bosey who sat out a nice chunk of last season due to a injury, and Stephen Pompillio who was their 6th man I believe. Connor has Demitrius Avery who IMO could be a top player in the region by seasons end. Thel also return their 6th man I believe, Tyler Break. It was Thomas and Pugh who graduated. Not Thomas and Lang. Pugh and Thomas did do a lot of Connors scoring last year, a lot of their rebounding, and a almost all of their leadership ran through them.

I agree with you! I think Scott will be better than Highlands, St Henry, and can definetly beat CCH & Ryle this year. I believe they should be ranked at the 6 spot, but 9th only infront of a Dixie team they beat by almost 20+ plus this summer? Just my opinion though. Also CCH is definetly ranked a little too high. They return 1 starter I think in Mitch Shover?

Totally agree! Nerl is for sure a top ten player in the region. This list will change by seasons end, we all know that, and I am almost 100% sure that he will be on there!:thumb:

Just wondering what others have to say, I see Dixie taking this one by a few touchdowns. Dixie seems to be on a roll, and Scott is coming off bad losses to Grant, Holmes, and Newport.

I am going to agree, but looking at this years schedule for Scott, they too could have a 20+ win season. Totally agree about Shina though, very good player when in transition on the floor. Very good court vision and passing. Holy Cross will probably have a down year though. Even though they return a bit of experience, they are still a little low on the talent side. Not dogging on them at all! Wish them the best of luck this season.

Campbell I believe will battle it out again with Scott in the district championship, take it down to the wire just like it happened last year. Nerl and Albrecht , should be their two main go-to-guys. Could make a nice run into the regional tournament, and if they get to a championship game you never know what could happen!

I have seen both Housley and Arnold in the past week. I will give Housley 6 foot at most, not a hair more. Arnold 6'3 to 6'4 at most. Still tall, but those numbers are just a tad bit off. Both very solid players one way or another.

Agreed SirMixAlot. I too believe Scott should be ranked ahead of Campbell. They did beat them in the district championship, and untill some one knocks them off in the district there is no reason they should be behind Campbell. Just like everyone is saying with Mason Co. Only fair right guys? Anyways, lots of players on here who didn't get recognized. Rieger, Nerl, etc. Shoud be a fun year to watch in the 10th! Top 5 teams could all compete against each other very well! Season officially starts in 6 days! We'll just have to wait around and see what happens!:thumb:

Not ragging on Mofford at all, but when I saw him play against Scott in the regional tournament he didn't impress me that much. Nikola of Scott scored over 20 on him, and I'm not sure if he broke double digits. Just kind of surprises me how he is ranked so far up, and the other one so far down. Other wise, the list looks pretty good! :thumb:

Even though he was an honor student, made A's and B's doesn't mean that much. The ACT is what counts the most as far as getting into a college. I see him staying at Cinci State just like westsider said and getting his assos. degree like he needs to, and then moving onto a bigger school where he really needs to be.

Totally agree. Arrez is a good kid, hard worker, and keeps himself out of trouble. Cincinnati State will have to due for this year. Next year I am sure he will transfer out into a much bigger school. Best of luck to him and his future!

Grant County doesn't seem like a very good team to me from what I have heard. Scott is very pumped and ready for this game. Coach Campbell has his team ready mentally and physically for this one. I take Scott in this one 28 to 14. Best of luck to the Eagles!

Cov Cath played a very good game tonight. Scotts defense had no answer for their running or throwing game. Not happy the Eagles lost, but we played hard.

Saw Wess play this summer against Scott. Has an upside to his game, big and strong with a nice touch. He just needs to learn how to use his body properly and he could turn out to be a nice big man in the next year or two.
