Beechwood should be solid this year. Brian Romus has turned into a fine athlete and can score the ball pretty well. Has a decent jumper but more of a slasher. Trey Boitel (sp?) can flat out shoot, all though he just like everyone else has his nights on occassion. Both played with Shinning Stars this summer and worked out good for them.

Can you give us some info on Barner diapeardandy, height, etc? Also I saw treg setty play this summer. He is looking much like his brother. Tall, lengthy and of course a nice looking shot. His game has developed a lot. Taking people of the dribble even saw him post up a couple times on smaller defenders. Wether he is in the starting line up or not, I believe he will be a factor. With out a doubt though, Russ will be there "go-to-guy" this year.

I was just curious to see your thoughts on this one. Since there isn't really one huge stand out stud like in previous years, I want to see which players you think will be the best this year.

Brossart has Rieger coming back, Campbell has Albert and Nerl, and Scott has Gligoravic. All of them may be top 10 players by years end.

Since there are quite a few teams scattered from the 2 to 5 spot, maybe even deeper, which players are looking to be the best in the 10th this year?

Coach Carr is correct. He'll have them ready come tournament time. With Campbell, and Brossart in the same district as Scott, it makes things a hole lot tougher for them. I believe they will make another good run in the post season, just like they did this year.

Yes he is. His dad played at Cov Latin and graduated at the age of 16 or 17 and played at Thomas More I believe.

The loss of Housely will hurt Newport a lot. I've seen him play a lot this summer and he has improved a lot. With out a doubt a nice pick up for Holmes, and a huge loss for Newport.

I know that everyone of the Scott's players have been in the weight room and playing AAU basketball all summer. Jacob Neiderregger could possibly be the 5th starter or 6th man. I believe him and Smith will will share those two spots. I also agree with Oconner and Nikola. Those two together, will cause lots of problems.
