Scoring is going to be a challenge for this team. Their PG is strong with penetration and defensively but his outside shot needs to get better. If not, you simply play off of him and make him give it up.

I think its going to be a challenging year for them. I'm just now sure if they have a go-to player and they are going to be small.

Was impressed with Trimpe when I saw him this summer. Shot the ball really well. They are going to struggle with teams who have good post players. They might be paying the price this year for having so much of the offense run thru Sorrell last year.

I liked Trimpe last year as a shooter. However, if you sell out on stopping him from getting his outside shot off, who scores for HC? That will be the interesting question.

Trimpe can do more than shoot from the outside. He can take most people that guard him to the hole. He is very good off the dribble. Very good ball handler

I won't say you're wrong but I'll say in the games I watched I didn't see it. If he can take people off the dribble it will certainly make him a weapon.

Shina will be their go to guy IMO. He is very crafty with the basketball, and can penetrate very will. He will only make his team better. His outside shot does need some work, thats the only inconsistant part of his game that I have seen.

I did not see it last season either but I play with him all the time and he almost always goes to the hole very good ball handler

Maybe its just you.

They return a little help in the post because Senior Mike Sullivan was out almost all of last year with a broken hand. He is 6'3 220 or so a solid 4. But they are going to have to run well to compete. And trimpe can handle the ball pretty well. Everyone knows about how good Giwa is but watch out for returning starter Brian Volpenien he has worked on his game alot.

Can they beat Beechwood?

Can they beat Beechwood?

They should beat beechwood

Beechwood returns three of their starting five.

They should beat beechwood

I think Beechwood will be pretty solid this year again. I think just based on returning players I would give them the edge over HC.

They also have Eastin who is a streaky shooter but when he is on, he can carry the team. Egan is a big guy (around 6'4 and built) and can shoot well. Jordan Fortner, Eric Sullivan, and Marcus Lee can shoot too.

This team will be more of a "team" this year. I think they will surprise people and be better then last year, IMO because they will play as a team.
