You are correct but do you remember a kid by the name of Corey Sorrell? He was the heart and sole of that team and they wont do much this year without him. He put up about 30 on Scott last year.

Maybe you should read and you would see that people who know Holy Cross basketball think this team will be better this year. They will play more as a team and last year was all 1st year varsity guys with the exception of Corey and Shina.

Yes, but you said that NO ONE on HC would be able to STOP Scott's top 7 or 8. What I'm saying is that HC has four returning starters this year with the exception of Corey Sorrel who must have done a decent job of STOPPING Scott last year...unless of course you think Corey Sorrel stopped Scott on defense by himself??

:fight:Summer Ball? .

The next time I see good defense played in summer ball will be the first time.

I just dont see Scott having the talent to beat HC... Hiller and Smith will be stopped by Giwa, O'Conner will be dominated by Volpenhein, Sullivan will hold his own against Nikola, Trimpe can stop Niederegger, Eastin will play D on Hiller or Smith, Egan can stop O'Conner

Has this turned into a Scott thread?

I don't think HC will be better this year. I know some on here are wishful thinkers, but nobody on this years team is replacing the 28-12 they counted on last year from one player.

Where do you see HC finishing in there district

This is funny!!! Shina will stop only one player and the rest wont stop anyone. Kola will dominate Sullivan, the Trimpe thing must be a joke, and whoever Volpenhein is wont stop O'Conner and neither will Egan. Eastin may play D on Hiller but wont be affective.

I agree with Blueflyer, HC wont win 10 games this upcoming season. Hate to say that already but its the truth. Giwa is all HC has and he cant win games like Sorrell did.

I think that there is to much being made of Scott vs HC on this thread. I mean all I am hearing is how they will beat each other by ten plus. Let's get back on topic of HC and how they will do. Also I know I am contradicting myself but who ever it was that said Nikola will dominate Sullivan is not watching the same basketball most are watching.

Most? You obviously dont know much about Nikola because he WILL dominate Sullivan. Im done on here about this. Lets just wait and see what Scott brings to the table this winter.:fight:

Will Jordan Fortner and Eric Sullivan be playing and what wll be their role?Starters or off the bench?

Ha get a load of this guy:fight:^. Its a loose, loose with this chucky on this topic. He is a scott homer we are HOLY CROSS homers, so know one is going to win.

As dothework said lets go back to THE HOLY CROSS thread and talk about how they will do this year.
