Dixie Heights 2008/2009

Featured Replies

What does Dixie Heights need to do to improve in 2008/2009? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

With the graduation of their big guy inside they're going to have to adjust and make it an outside game. They have several fast, outside shooters and a pretty deep bench for the same which should help.

I don't know exactly what Dixie has coming back, but IMO: they will struggle with losing Mace, Lawson, and Kendall to graduation.

I agree with you, could be a rebuilding year for Dixie.

They still have a pretty good 6'4" or 5" post in the junior class. I think Dixie could be better than some people expect.

I've heard that Pike's son could start varsity this season, any truth?

Would not be surprised.

Freshman on Varsity level? I think he would struggle.

I think sophmore Matt Trammel will be an eye opener at the varsity level this year.

Who is back for Dixie from last year? Who will be in the starting line-up?

Matt Trammel will be one heck of a point guard by his senior year. IMO he will be their starting point guard. Mitch Bosey and Zeke Pike should be their two and three, Then Stephen Pompillio at the four, and a junior named Wess? should be the five man.

Sounds like a solid lineup, but a little slow, Bosey can flat out shoot though.

He was held back a year.

Wes is the 6'4/6'5 blonde who plays in the post. Raleigh will also see PT if he plays basketball again.

Wes Smith. Also plays football at Dixie.
