Team chemistry is why players like Leonard Macon, Mosley and others were not selected...and players like the Faulkners and Corey Jackson were. Would they buy into the team concept and be content with the amount of playing time they received?

If the basketball season consisted of only 10 regular season games and were played on Friday nights only the attendance would be way up. Easier for folks to attend 1 game a week @ 7:30 on a Friday night than during the week on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Football is fortunate to be the only major sport that has 100% of their roster on the 1st day of practice and throughout the season...... basketball teams sometimes wait 4-6 weeks into practice to get all players following football. Baseball seems to be the sport that gets the shorter end of the stick...getting kids close to or after the 1st game due to basketball and having to deal with Spring Football.

Take a great run for anybody to match Clay County's 119 consecutive home wins from 1984-1993. Maybe a little home cooking.

Marshall County is probably the best from Regions 1-3. It has all the things mentioned.....facilities, $$$, support, tradition, talent...plus a district that they have dominated for 30 years. Also 3 good feeder middle schools which is an advantage due to the fact that every other team in the region has only 1 middle school.
