  1. The Bulldogs win the first round 57th District playin game. Will play Sheldon Clark Weds. at 6:00. Good luckto Coach Josh Cook and the Bulldogs!!!
  2. The semi-circle underneath the should be used for the safety of both players. A few years back a player was well known to establish position so far underneath that if the goal fell it would have went around his neck. lol. This resulted in a player receiving a deep cut to the chin and a broken right arm after coming down on this player setup to far underneath the goal. Injured player was called for the offensive foul. After attending approx. 15 games this season and watching some on ihigh a call that I have yet seen to be made is the 3- second lane violation. With the numbers of taller players increasing, it gives the Bigger players to much of an advantage to be able to come down the floor and establish position in the post with either one or two feet in the lane and stay in the lane for the total possession. Even have heard a Referee tell a coach that he was not going to call a 3-sec lane violation that game! Is this just an Eastern Region thing or statewide? Maybe that question will be answered during these teams playing in the on going All A tournment!
  3. Hard to fairly rate any of these until after football is over and players adjust! Usually around Jan.1st.Head Coach Josh Cook has alot of youth but players are playing hard and giving a great effort in pre-season scrimmages!
  4. Good Luck to Coach Spurlock and his PCC team! Looking forward to some very entertaining Basketball in the 14th Region this year!!!!
  5. Coach Hatcher has gained my respect as a coach and mentor to some younger coaches. Good luck Coach Hatcher in whatever the future holds for you which I would say is a Coaching position at a Lucky program.
  6. Lot of young talent that will play hard and improve with each game under 1st year Coach Cook. Their fast style of play will make this a fun team to watch! Good luck to the Bulldogs!
  7. Will be a real road test for the Indians, but games like this are scheduled to prepare your team for the Tournaments coming up. Hope all come out injury free! Are there any radio station that will stream this game on the net??
  8. Thanks for the updates, mcraycraft! I felt this would be a tough game for the Indians. looking forward to looking at the stats.
  9. Thanks for stats mccraycraft. Now the Indians can get a much needed rest!
  10. mccraycraft, do you have any stats on this game? Would appreciate!!!!
  11. Congrats Indians on the win! Glad to see Handshoe backout on the floor! Good luck tonite against Marshall Co.!
  12. Clyde, is the pulling out of the player's jersey when fouling out one of the point of interest to refs. this year? I for one totally agree with this. Players that foul out should do what the Coach is instructing them to do to give the Coach time to talk to his players while entering a sub. into the game. Most important the display of bad attitude and sportmanship.
  13. This will be a fun game to watch. GRC under the floor leadership of Stenzil is only going to get better as the season goes on. Prewitt and Handshoe for Mont. Co. are playing well at this point in season. I give the edge to MC on homecourt. IMO keys to this game will be bench play. MC has Jones, Burton, Razor, and Kelley that has the talent to stepup and play well. GRC has been playing at least 10 deep in other games. Their lost to Mad. Central will have them HUNGRY for a road win.
