The timing of this one makes it very difficult to believe.

It's true. He's going to West Virginia. I know him and the perry county central administration wasn't getting along that well

Wow. The timing is terrible for PCC. But, it sounds like the job in WV came open recently and that led to the departure this close to the season.

 

I also had heard of friction between Hatcher and administration at PCC. I'm sure that played a role in the move as well.

He's out confirmed...will be official tomorrow.

He's going to that same school system (per a source). I think it's in Logan (WV)...

Will this mean Beverley and others will transfer to KCC?

I have also heard that Braxton will be going to Knott County Central. Not sure how true that it, just what I've heard

Didn't you read the link you posted?

 

He's replacing his son as coach at Logan. Son resigned for health reasons. Makes the timing of the whole thing more logical

Coach Hatcher has gained my respect as a coach and mentor to some younger coaches. Good luck Coach Hatcher in whatever the future holds for you which I would say is a Coaching position at a Lucky program.

I'm not sure the Perry Central Central faithful ever really warmed to Hatcher's slow style of play. He won games and regions every place he's coached, but his style was not the most exciting in the world to watch. I believe they will go after someone with a more uptempo brand of basketball in their arsenal.

It didn't take Perry long to find another coach.....Already got one hired.....Kevin Spurlock
