Did he coach at Hazard and Clay County, or am I thinking of the wrong person?

So Perry Central has hired a guy that used to coach at Hazard, whose coach built Perry Central's program. Wow.

Will this mean Beverley and others will transfer to KCC?

 

Probably tough to transfer in season since school has already started.

Spurlock won an All A Classic state title at Hazard, as I recall. Didn't seem to have as much success at Clay County and Sheldon Clark, but still did fairly well.

I'm told that Beverly will remain at Perry Central and that Johnson will likely be coming with Spurlock from Sheldon Clark to Perry Central
