That's X's dirty little secret. They play juniors as well. :sssh:

Trinity Frosh Vs. Cathedral?
Nope they trashed it twice as bad. You better call Moeller and tell them Trinity is coming to trash their mid field emblem four times as bad.

Looks like FC just needed to look across the field for a suitable replacement.

Lone Oak/Trinity JV game??
Who played well for the Rocks? What class is Lone Oak?

Is Simon Kenton #2 in 6A ?
Perhaps the first thing that needs to happen is for SK to score their first points on Trinity, ever. 2001: 60-0 2005: 52-0 2008: 48-0 Let's keep things in the accurate perspective.

Saint Xavier 32 Trinity 7
Good win for the Tigers. Beuhner is the best quarterback X has had in a long time. He is by far their best player and is very good. I was surprised Trinity was able to throw the ball as well as they did against a much acclaimed X secondary. Surprisingly, Trinity gained 390 yards, which is the most it has totalled against the Tigers since 2000. X has guys with game breaking speed. Trinity does not. With all that Brad Kragthorpe has going on in his life, his performance was masterful. He threw the ball very well, especially on out routes and his ball fakes were tremendous. If you have the opportunity, watch his movements on the play action touchdown pass that was called back. While it still ended up being a 25 point margin, the game was much closer than I expected it to be. That was the best Trinity's offense has looked against St. X in the regular season in quite some time. Well the 6 game gauntlet is over and the Rocks are 2-4. Hopefully, these games against quite formidable opponents will help mold this young team into a solid unit that can compete for a state title.

St. Xavier/Trinity Predictions
Just seems to me that X has had no problem stopping Trinity or scoring on Trinity in the regular season for quite some time. All of those match-ups with the exception of 2004 were against above average to great Trinity teams. From accounts, this may not be, at least at this time, one of those Trinity teams. We shall see.

For the posters who have seen both teams play, is there any way Trinity keeps this close?

Pride week brings out the best in all of us, for better or worse.

Trinity 33 Elder 14 (Frosh)
That was a great idea Ox. I am surprised X didn't go for it given that second place is rewarded at Churchill. Seems like a match made in heaven.

No debate here. X has the nicest track stadium in the state. Kudos to them. :thumb:

Elder/Cincy St. X Predictions
St. X by 10-20. No offense to the Birds, but the Bombers got trapped in a trap game. This game will be all Bombers as they will be ready to play.

Trinity 33 Elder 14 (Frosh)
Thanks. That makes the Rocks' win that more impressive.

Who's #1 ... cast your vote
My guess would be Male's team in 2006 with Mr. Football Doug Beaumont.

Trinity 33 Elder 14 (Frosh)
Was this Elder's "A" freshman team? If so, that is very impressive.

Trinity 20 Saint Xavier 19 (JV)
That's funny. Although some have suggested a few freshmen get a look.

St. Xavier/Trinity Predictions
How has St. X's defensive line play been this year? If they can control the line of scrimmage with just four it may be a long night in October for the Rocks. I see no reason why X will have any trouble putting up some points.
