KY Thorobred Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 Yes. / CHANGE In all honesty Franklin is better than this and everyone knows it. I am really impressed with Pendleton and I am happy for Coach Teegarden and what he gets out of the few players he has over in Falmouth. Next week with Bourbon could be interesting for Pendleton if they can contain the backs.

oldonetechnique Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 Whoa?????? Am I dreaming here????? PC beats the Flyers???? WOW
CoachBuckett Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 WOW! Never would have thought this. I thought FCHS had to much skill and talent for this to happen. Now with this loss does this mean FCHS won't make the playoffs?
sportanalyst$ Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 Franklin County dominated til the 4th. Offensive playcalling and poor football decisions led to this loss. FC ran the ball all night against PC and was very productive until the 2nd half. Stepp for some reason began running consecutive pass plays on various occasions. FC had all, but sealed the win until PC punted to the Flyers and the freshman Timmons did not field the punt and watched it hit his leg. The next play PC scored the go ahead TD. Stepp sent his players straight to the lockeroom again while walking arm in arm with his wife. He refused to talk to reporters as well. People in Frankfort are already calling for a change as a 1-7 season and no playoffs is not typical. Jeremy Gardner is a warrior and I have nothing, but for respect. He is what FC football is all about. Stepp does not look like he wants to be there and its beginning to rub off on this young team.
sportanalyst$ Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 How many players does FC have? I would say around 30 to 35.
oldonetechnique Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 I had heard they were down in numbers but 30-35 is not too bad this time of year. Is that including injured kids?
BigCatDaddy Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 FC has hit rock bottom. How long will they keep Stepp. They ran off a VERY good coach and now look what they have. Stepp can say what he wants, but the cupboard was nowhere near empty. There is talent there, maybe not District Champs, but enough to beat PC and have a respectable season. This reminds me of 2002, not good for Flyer nation. I know I am being really negative, but it's just a tough pill to swallow.
