Thought I'd pass along the final score. Elder got a TD late to complete the scoring.

 

Scoring for the Rocks:

James Quick - 2 TD receptions

Ryan White - 1 KOR for TD, 1 TD reception

Dalyn Dawkins - 1 TD Run

 

After surrendering a score on the first Elder drive, the defense kept the Panthers in check until late. A lot of big hits from the Rock D, especially Jason Hatcher, Connor Hill and Daeshawn Bertram.

Was this Elder's "A" freshman team? If so, that is very impressive.

They were large in number, speed and talent. Rocks were just too much for them.

Rock Froshmen are the real show. Elder had plenty of studs, including a 260 lb tailback who didn't want any part of the Rocks by the end of the game. Folks, I don't think I'm going out on a limb here when I say, tomorrows game might get ugly for the Tigers!!!

I think it was their B team form what I gather.

Guy in my office has a nephew at Elder and was on that team. It was the entire freshman team. He said they only split a couple of times - for games against the big local rivals to get kids more reps.

 

It was the same freshman team that lost 44-43 to Colerain.

 

I didn't see it but he said Trinity was so much better than Elder.
