Typical Shamrocks playing a running back who had over 100 yards in a varsity game and they play him down for JV.(Jack Tenza) And a Quarterback who started for them Varsity the previous Friday now playing JV. WOW!

 

Tiger fans just picture Lamont Mcmurray, Daylen Hall, and the rest of our juniors playing JV. It wouldn't even be close. This just shows how Trinity is desperate to avoid the sweep and get at least one win out of three. :ohbrother:

I'm surprised it took 14 minutes. I don't believe either of those 2 boys starts now. This is a good way to develop depth.

Lets see, Trinity has 7 Championships in the 9 years we started playing juniors and X has 1.

The Trinity starter situation across the board is in flux. If we only played people whom we were sure would not play varsity we would have started nothing but freshmen.

In which case, just to be on the safe side, we better not play either JV or Freshmen games this year. I mean if anyone could potentially be upgraded to Varsity for a game or two during the season then we need to make sure they don't get anymore experience on any other level. Heaven forbid we run our team differently than anyone else!

 

The sky is falling the sky is falling! I am going to start building my bomb shelter now so I can duck and cover as St.X people criticize our program. I am not sure if I am prepared for the new insults and clever one-liners that some of them may come up with. Heaven knows none have ever said anything untoward about how we conduct our programs. :scared:

Not sure about the varsity starter argument but I am sure if one thing: Trinity 34-0 as frosh. Trinity by 1 in overtime the following year on the next level. The gap is closing quickly on one of the gratest frosh classes in Trinity history.

You have to love the call by the St. X coaching staff to go for 2 and the win in OT! The Tigers played a great game! Not sure about the last call of the game when our tightend caught the ball - it sure looked like he crossed the plain while he had possession before it was knocked out of his hands. Took the official awhile to make the call that it was a fumble! Oh well - congrats to the Tigers on a hard faught game! Alex Mattingly, our QB, played with alot of heart tonight! He came out of the game with a dislocated shoulder, had it popped back into place and went back into the game! What a great group of kids!
