While I agree with your statement (because I alway want to win)I also thought the whole point of a site like BGP's was for fans to get on here and discuss football. Lets face it polls are part of the High School Football experience. If you can't get on here and make an argument for your team to be in top ten if that is what you believe then what is the point of the site? The guys making the polls do a great job but they aren't going to be right 100% of the time, and if they were what fun would that be?

You seem to keep answering a question with a question. I didn't ask for your opinion I was asking how you came about it. What information did you use to form your opinion. And you are the one who keeps dragging Buckler into this I never said you put him down. Its not putting him down stating your opinion of him. I simply ask what coaching decisions would you be basing your comments on. I also ask if you have seen all the kids you speak of in person. Maybe you just have a feeling. Any of the above is just fine with me. If you don't want to back up your statement or feeling or what ever you call it thats fine too. Any one who pays their money is entitled to an opinion and you have one.

We do agree on one thing this is always one of my favorite games of the year also. Always enjoyed coming to Ludlow to play and now enjoy it as a fan. If the parking was a little better it would better but we can live with that. Just something about the stadium the atmosphere the people I always enjoyed. It's usually a very competitive game as well. On paper this should be a blow out but as I've said before you can throw the records out the window when it comes to the little river schools playing.

Being a Bellevue fan jdg937 is seeing what most BGP's aren't because he is actually at Bellevue games watching this team get better every week. They had a slow start with some inexperienced players and guys at new positions. The offense seems as though they have come into their own and the defense is continuing to get better every week. Big test coming up next week. Time will tell but I think this team is up for the challenge. The coaches have done a great job with keeping the kids real as far as the players knew coming into the season they had some hard work to do to get this team where it needed to be in order to contend. As far as the schedule an earlier poster had it correct they beat the teams they should have. They also have destroyed some team that most wouldn't have thought going into the season. Their district is traditionally a good one and usually competitive one and to this point they are doing very well in it. The next couple of weeks will tell the story.

Their opponents have a combined 9 - 35 record. Not proving much with out of district games.

He averages just over 9 yrds a carry. 9 times 22 is 198. I think if they control him they have a chance.

I know they are small school but the Bellevue line does a great job. You don't have a 1500 yard rusher after 7 games if your line isn't getting the job done. SK line is very impressive in the fact they don't stop until the whistle is blown. Can't count how many times last week I saw linemen 20, 30 yards or so down field throwing a block for Miles

I think these teams are going in different direction. HC seemed to start strong but hasn't played up to the projections. Lloyd seems to be getting better as season goes on. I still think HC has enough to win. HC 24 Lloyd 20

If he gets at least 22 carries and they hold him under 200 yrds I will don a Panther avatar. That will mean they hold him under his average and Ludlow has a shot to win.

It is what it is Dayton, Ludlow, Bellevue are small cities that are very limited in area. You can't coach kids you don't have. Every so ofter your going to have a really good team. ON the flip side every so often your going to have a bad team. Bishop, Beechwood, are school that can draw from much larger areas than the city limits, and Walton is in an area where growth is possible. Keep supporting your team win or lose. It's hard to put competitive teams on the field every year when your good football players have the choice to attend another school both public and private.

Like the Bellevue / Dayton game when it comes to Bellevue / Ludlow you can throw the records out the window. These kids will come to play no matter what. With kids like Rice and Buckler I look for another hard fought game. I would think Ludlow will monster Buckler with Rice. Shut him down and Ludlow has a chance.

For a guy not making a case against him you need to check a few fact first. Every blowout he has been out early fourth quarter. I saw the leading candidate in a game with his team leading 42 - 7 yet no one even questioned that. The guy you voted for also got carries in that same game with under 2 minutes left in the game. So you tell me when should they come out. If your going to not make a case don't make it either way. Get the blinders off and be objective if that is what you profess to be by not making a case. Rickky Buckler: 1550 yards on 170 carries, 9 plus yards per carry, 23 TD's Plays for a small school (Bellevue) but his numbers are as good as anyone. When he plays everyone knows he is getting the ball yet he still puts up the numbers.

I think the field conditions will actually help the Bulldogs more than home field advantage will play into it for Dixie.

Even though you point out the 29 - 27 second half score, this game was never close. This was the first time I saw Miles play. What a stud!. He can do it all Speed, Strength, Agility, and football savvy. Collinsworth is a great back and is on the same level but IMO doesn't have the strength this kid has. WOW! I don't understand why these coaches never put in the second teams. Game was 42 to 7 and both sides had their first teams in? SK did seem to be trying to sub to a degree. Simpson was caring the ball up 3 TD with 2 minutes in the game. A lot of kids on the sidelines would have liked to get on TV. This game was never in doubt. If a small school had left their players in a game like this every BGP member would have been on this morning screaming about poor sportsmanship.
