Final...

Simon Kenton was just to much. It wasn't the officiating, it wasn't the rain. The Raiders were just beat in all facets of the game.

An SK/Highlandds game sure would be interesting. It should've happened this year one way or another becuase who wants it next year when Miles and Hansel are gone?

Watching the tape and I must say that the "non" fumble was huge. 7-0 lead, and Ryle could have been in scoring territory. Lawrence played huge, and Miles made some great runs. I thought the SK defense really came to play and helped SK's offense build a nice lead.

SK might be the best team in NKY. A case could certainly be made.

Simon Kenton is awfully explosive, huh?

Indeed. That second HHS/Ryle matchup is looking more and more like the unfortunate schedule filler that it is.

Do you think this was a better win than Highland's over St X?

Seeing it on tape and having the benefit of a reply did you think it was really a non fumble? Couldn't really tell from my angle, and no doubt it was huge.

The defense was a monster. #36 (can't remember his name, which is odd because it was mentioned about twenty times,) was like a fixture in the backfield. Congrats to SK. This was a well earned win.

What happened to everyone that said Elliot was going to be dragging people around? He took a few shots tonight! I was impressed because a couple times he got nailed and I thought he's down and he popped up and got in the huddle. The same can be said for Hempel. He took a beating.

#36 is Baldwin, and he's a stud. The kid has a non stop motor which seems to be a family trait. SK has a very nice defense, they gave West fits, and they put some serious heat on Hempel tonight.

#36 is Junior Austin Baldwin. I thought this one was going to be closer. It was apparent very early that it was going to be SK's night. Offense for SK was explosive but it was the defense that really was doing some hitting.

The third quarter TD run by Simpson was unreal; how many times did he reverse fields. Nice win by SK but lots of football still.

I can say one thing about Miles. I saw Chris Jennings play a few times while in HS. He went on to Arizona and is now the backup RB for the Cleveland Browns. Miles does things on this level that Jennings wishes he could've done! Miles has a gear that Jennings didn't and he's now a pro! What's that say about Miles?

Congrats to SK on winning the NKY 6A tonight. Miles is terrific and SK won in the trenches. Good job, Pioneers!!! You earned it. Raiders, no time to feel sorry. You will be fine.

Please make it. I would love to hear it.
