bellbobcats Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I would put Bell's o-line up against any in the state......i expect arguments:taz:
NEERFAN Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 SK's line is very solid, three returning starters while all being Srs.
Ryle74 Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I'm very impressed with SK's o-line. They get my vote.
Bird Bath Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I was very impressed with SK line as well, even a HHS guy could not help but notice that this was a very impressive unit.
sportsnut859 Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Jordan Hansel is better than a couple NKY offensive lines by himself so I'll take SK.
charlesw88 Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Boyle County's offensive live is undersized against every team they play. However, they are rock solid and are able to knock the big boys back.
stick1 Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I've pretty much been around as a player or coach just about all of Lawrence Co's lines through the 90's etc. This one is top 3 and you could argue within the 3 best. Tack on a 6'4 TE best blocking WR in school history and 6'1 230 FB and there is a lot of power on this team.
FamilyTradition Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I will go with the Bluebirds. They have 4 returning starters from last years State Championship team.( Combs-Center, Schlosser-guard, Grubs-tackle, and Wells- TE)
NCBIRD Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I will go with the Bluebirds. some_guy Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Bryan Station's O-line has to be in the discussion, big & physical has led the way to over 200 yards rushing in every game and McCaden's 1669 yards so far this year against 8 & 9 man boxes and 6A compitition.

I would say that all of the teams you have played so far this year would say that the Bulldogs have the best O and D line they have seen this year. I know the Greenup Co fans are saying it after what you did to them last week. But the state won't know it till you go deep into the playoffs a few years in a row. You have to restore what you have lost the past 8-10 years or so. It will take time except for the teams that you play each year.
leatherneck Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I will go with the Bluebirds. They have 4 returning starters from last years State Championship team.( Combs-Center, Schlosser-guard, Grubs-tackle, and Wells- TE) Birds O line has done pretty well so far, but they can get better and will need to this week. Trust me when I say this: CovCath's defensive linemen and lbers are much, much better and much, much quicker and aggressive than they have been the last couple of years. Each week they have improved and they will be a really nice test for the Birds O line. And you just know that Coach Ray is going to have all kinds of stunts and blitzes ready to test the Birds O line and try to get pressure on Towles. The Colonels have nothing to lose in this game and are really going to throw in everything including the kitchen sink defensively this week.
birds3pete09 Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Highlands hands down. With 2 future all-staters in Grubbs and Schlosser.:ylsuper:
bluegrass09 Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Jake Maricle of Beechwood is a very good offensive lineman.
