  1. I would completely disagree that this years schedule is easier. I believe the schedule they played last season was much easier.
  2. You guys realize you're saying Ryle is pass happy when they are actually averaging more rushing yards per game and per carry this year vs last year.
  3. You realize you contradicted yourself, right? On one hand you said Ryle needs to run the ball. But you followed that up with SK will own the LOS. Which is it? I think you just made the case for Ryle to pass.
  4. Russellville names the score. Even with everyone healthy this game was the end of Campbellsville's season. It just happened a round earlier than expected.
  5. Ryle is averaging more yards rushing per game and more yards per carry this season than they did last season. I think some people are upset that the numbers are coming from different places than before.
  6. You realize when you put specific styles of runners in on certain plays it makes it much easier to key on what's being done when that player is in the game, right. The running style of a team has to be predicated off what the offensive line can block, not what the backs can do. The running backs have to adapt, and England has not done a good job of that this season f The running backs have to adapt, and England has apparently not done a good job of that this season. Also, some people (parents) still believe that coaches care about who plays. The best players play. If England was the best running back, which he should be, he would be playing more. He didn't produce so the coaches changed his position to help him get on the field more and get more touches. It sounds to me like they did him a favor.
  7. England lacks the vision to see the hole as well as the Chisholm kid and doesn't run people over as well as the Bateman kid. Ask any player or coach on their team and they'll tell you the same thing. He's just not consistent, which resulted in reduced touches. They can't move people up front this year (smaller OL) so you have to be patient and watch your blocks develop. He has struggled to do that.
  8. So who travels? And remember, there are on 32 teams in 6A. So you end up having two Louisville schools in a district with SK and Campbell? It just doesn't make sense. Try again.
  9. So how else do you propose to lay out the 6A districts?
  10. Bryan Station beats Cooper by 35 in less than 3 quarters. Lafayette beats Bryan Station. Cooper is ranked ahead of both. Smells of a little NKY homerism to me.
  11. Is venture to say Jagger's time as it relates to coaching has passed him by. There is a reason he's been on the sidelines for so long (in terms of lack of recent employment).
  12. You're clueless. Madison Central is terrible and Lex Cath's QB is a difference maker. And no one was talking about SK. Keep grasping at moral victories on that one. Cooper winning without TCA playing much is good for them. It goes to show how good their line play is, along with some of their skill players.
  13. You do realize you beat Lex Cath without their starting QB. They are a totally different team when he's healthy. I wouldn't use that score as a Cooper/Ryle comparison.
  14. Most people don't leave in an ambulance for a stinger.
  15. I pretty sure Dixie's team consisted of a few sophomores and maybe juniors.
  16. 7 Newport Catholic 5 Williamsburg 3 Dayton 2 Lexington Catholic 1 Grant County TB-Newport Catholic
  17. You guys don't get it. Talent is part of the equation. But look at their numbers. They have more kids playing now than ever before. They play more kids. They are building a program. Has any other coach ever been fired 3 years after playing in a state title game? What they did worked when they were crazy talented in 2010 but didn't work when the studs left. If they'd been playing more kids and running their program correctly he would have still been there because they would have won more games. What they are doing now will set them up for the long haul. They'll be High's and lows, but I doubt they'll be below .500 again anytime soon.
  18. I think it's more than that. It's a total culture change. They don't overwork kids and have them beat each other to death in practice everyday. They train smart over the summer and are cognizant of preventing injuries. Numbers are up. That helps add talent.
  19. I don't think Ryle was in a down cycle as much as they were underutilizing their talent. That's why a change was made and you see the result of that in year 2.
  20. They're the, "When you decide what school you want to go to we hope you choose us" kind.
  21. I know Boyle County is good, but if they played Scott County they'd lose by 2-3 touchdowns. Big difference in overall talent and depth.
  22. With the talent in that area and the numbers advantage they should have in terms of players, Henderson County should not be losing to 2A and 3A teams.
