After Conner's victory last night against Campbell County it has set up a really competitive district in 6A and the other 6A district is in shambles. Looking at the 2 districts it makes the upcoming district games pretty exciting starting tonight.

 

The 2 6A districts are as follows

Ryle 6-0

Conner 6-1

Cooper 5-2

District 5 teams clearly have one of the most competitive districts in the area and these district games should be pretty exciting.

 

Conner I think has flown under the radar and after their big win last night should open some eyes. Not who they beat, but the way they beat them. Padgett is really coming into his own as their QB and could give some teams some real issues.

But they are winning close games. Competition has been on the lean side. But heck that's what they say about us. A win is a win. I think they are the underdog too but they sure seem scrappy to me. Never know, any given Friday night!

We all play each other anyway. Mainly because of proximity and gate revenues. Might as well make'm count.

just needed a couple more teams to add to the mix haha. Although some still think Cooper and Conner should have stayed in 5A, I love how old rivalries are now even bigger because they are now in the same class and same district. This can only be good for the Cooper/Ryle rivalry and conner and Cooper alreayd had a great one and now all 4 Boone public HS's in the same class can only make it more interesting in years to come.

6A has been the doormat class in NKy for as long as I can remember. Its so strange to see Cov Cath and HHS struggle, and 6A excel. Its like we are living in an alternative universe!

So how else do you propose to lay out the 6A districts?

It definitely is a very tough district with Ryle, Cooper, and Conner. Conner definitely has a very good team too!

Put Boone, Ryle, Conner, and Cooper in the same District, just as they are in all the other sports. There's no reason those 4 county schools shouldn't be aligned. Figure the rest out from there.
