Exactly. It would be more fair to say unless something changes during the season, which can happen but is unlikely. These guys aren't bigger schools top choices. Some things will have to fall through for these guys to get a D1 offer.
I was under the impression that if he got on the field last year he couldn't "transfer" without sitting out unless a move happened. Is that not the case?
Unless it's a legit move he'd have to sit out a season. I say there is definitely a change of address taking place so he might end up outside of Louisville.
That's fine. It also works on timing, teaches Db's and Lb's to cover, and let's you see what kids will perform in pressure situations and when they're tired.
You realize the best player in America could play for a team with a losing record. That doesn't diminish what that player is, just that his team sucks. It's takes quite a few high level guys on the same team to compete nationally.
Same with Tim Couch. Playing for such a small school in Eastern Kentucky against poor competition really hampered his ability to throw the football in college.
It's a good thing no one cares about your opinion. When all the major recruiting services have him ranked between #1 and #4 the kid can play. Sometimes kids get bored. Not every great player dominates on every play.
