I think it has to do with talent. Most people believe Beechwood has underachieved relative to their talent the last few seasons.

They are definitely a talented squad. I'm looking forward to seeing how they grow and develop this season.

They've gotten better. But when was the last time they won a playoff game? Hopefully they break the trend this year, but until then, no playoff wins over the last few seasons constitutes not very good.

He graduated last year and will be playing at Georgetown. He was one of the top linebackers in NKY the last two seasons. Curious to see what else you got?

If boosters wanted to give the coach extra money, why would the BOE care. There is a cap in terms of what the district will give. That doesn't mean they won't let someone else pay more. It can be done. There just isn't anyone in Kentucky that is willing to throw that kind of money around right now, or needs to, in order to get a good coach.

Supply and demand. There are ample coaches available and no one else paying that kind of money. Believe me, if one school found a way to do it and stole a good coach from somewhere else, other schools would start doing the same as long as they had the available resources.
