  1. All this talk about SK growing up and scheduling better and they open up with a 2A team. No above average 6A school should play a 2A school, period!
  2. Some districts will honor the days, some won't. It's a district decision. It makes a huge difference towards retirement if you have a lot of accumulated days.
  3. Not all districts will honor his sick days. That was a big issue before he worked at Bardstown two years ago. A lot of places wanted him to coach, but the districts would not give him credit for all the days he had accumulated previously. That is a huge factor when you think about retirement. It's not worth it to sacrifice those days for a mid-level Division I job.
  4. They did, but as a D-line coach. They hired a guy from UNC to be the DC.
  5. Troy has already hired a DC I believe.
  6. If you know anything about Owensboro, wise coaching decisions aren't their forte.
  7. If you took the top 2 from each district Trinity wouldn't make the playoffs this year.
  8. I don't know anything about their other programs. I'll just wait and see what excuses are being made 3 years from now. They should be winning since their district will be significantly easier.
  9. Done, not don't. Can a mod fix my spelling please.
  10. Laugh all you want. I've been around enough to know that if you're playing 6-7 freshman period in your 3rd year you haven't dont a very good job developing kids in your program.
  11. They were 6-5 the year before he took over. They were 6-6 his first year. They've won 2 games the last 2 years. I don't get why some of you are so sure he'll turn anything around? It looks like they've gotten infinitely worse since he took over. I know they're going to be up and down based on talent cycles, but come on.
  12. Hazard with the running clock. Campbellsville is not in their league.
  13. Is Bryan Stations QB healthy? I heard he was hanged up a few weeks ago.
  14. I watched him on Hudl. He outruns most people with few broken tackles or yards after contact. That won't cut it in the bigger classes. You have to perform against the best on your schedule and he hasn't done that. I've seen a few D1 guys over the years and he's not D1. However, I do think he's a college football player that can have great success in the right situation.
  15. I would be willing to guarantee he gets 100 yards.
  16. Franklin County in a blowout. They have way to many athletes for Conner.
  17. So against the two best teams they have played he has less than 100 yards combined. He's a great NAIA kid, which isn't a bad thing.
  18. Take him to Lexington, Louisville, or Northern Kentucky and he's an average player.
  19. Taylor County is a bad football team. Nick Saben couldn't change that.
  20. This is the 3rd football hire in his tenure. Next year will be their 4th. That says a lot about the admin.
  21. Nothing special here. Taylor County is still a bad job with little talent. (Sorry. The last post got cut off.)
  22. Hilton has beaten a team with an interim coach that Taylor almost beat last season.
