I would think that there would be a lot of interest of current head coaches who would like to go to South with all the size, athletes and facilities. I wouldn't be surprise to see Coach Martin or Coach Brown go after this job and leave their horrible facilities and non-athletic, small kids. They need to hire someone to take them back to the powerhouse days.

Once you guys get rid of Coach Holbrook, who are you looking to bring in? Who do you see being the next head coach?

I don't know if I was told the correct story or not, but I think it is a great story too. I won't tell the whole story, but I was told that it had something to do with a Somerset team in the early 30's or 40'(not sure if correct) going up North and playing a team that was supposed to dominate them and Somerset ended up being too fast for them. The local paper wrote the story as an upset that the players from Somerset were so quick they looked like (rabbits) a bunch of briar jumpers getting out of the thicket!::idunno:

A 23 point victory over a Bracken County team that has not won in forever, is basically squeaking by! 12 Point win over a winless Gallatin, a team that looks to be down this year, is squeaking by also.

Glad to hear your opinion, but I still think blanked is holding a team to zero and winning by 4+ TDs. Would you really call a team winning 3-0, blanking a team? I wouldnt.

I would not call 13-0 "Blanking a Team" Thats just my opinion. You might think so. Blanking a team would be 4+ TDs to 0. Just my opinion.

Does everybody forget North only beat Moore by 1 point. This is the same Moore team that had not won a game in a couple years!

Trinity drops another one. Finally, a down year for Trinity. Maybe 3-4 losses. St. X, you might get another state title, finally!

Another loss by Frankfort. Hills 35-21. The wheels start to fall off and the rest of the season does not look good for FHS.

Bourbon falls off the winning wagon and loses to Mason, 35-7.

Fort Knox loses again. Fort Campbell 62-0.

According the KHSAA website, North only beat Trimble last year 31-0, which they had a great team last year. Based on Norths first 3 games and Trimbles first 2, I would say this will be a close one. Trimble might rebound with a 1 TD victory over North. Trimble 21 North 13.

Bracken stays winless the rest of the year! Ludlow 34 Bracken 20.

My guess would be Henry 42 Owen 7. Looks like Henry has a pretty tough defense. Might get their offense rolling this game.

I would say Lafayette has their way with Franklin.

Wow! They beat 2 crappy teams! Etsill might have been good last year, but they are not this year. And Casey County is even worse than them. Don't start drinking the kool-aid yet!

Sorry to hear this. I hope UL still sticks with him next year. Question and maybe it should have its own thread. How much does having Weaver out affect Frankforts chance for a district title and playoff run? I think with Weaver, they were head and shoulders above the district, but now I am not for sure.
