I wish him nothing but the best and the Frankfort squad the best as well. What rotten luck.

I hate to hear this, Quan is a outstanding player and had a chance to be Mr. Football. My thoughts are with you Q and the rest of the FHS football team.

That is a tough break for such a talented player. I hate to see any kid get hurt and especially during his senior year. I had a feeling he was going to and was hoping he switches his commitment over to UK from UofL. Regardless of where he goes, here is to a speedy recovery and best of luck.

Very sorry to hear that news. Quan is the best running back Beechwood faced last year IMO. I was very impressed with him and was hoping we would get to see him again in the playoffs. If this diagnosis proves accurate, it looks like we may have to wait till he starts getting carries in college. I will definitely be rooting for him through all this and in his college career. Best of luck to Quan!

I hate to hear this, I was really, honestly, looking forward to following him this year and see what he could do. I, personally, have been talking him up to a lot of people. Very sad news.

Question and maybe it should have its own thread. How much does having Weaver out affect Frankforts chance for a district title and playoff run? I think with Weaver, they were head and shoulders above the district, but now I am not for sure.

Hate to see this happen to anyone, particularly a senior. He's a one-man wrecking crew for FHS.

I think Frankfort should still be good enough to win the district with their other running backs: Leach, Mason, Morgan, Dunmire, Washington. There's still lots of talent left on the team... but not Quan Weaver-type talent. How deep they will make it in the playoffs now probably depends on how well the team comes together to move past these string of injuries that have plagued the team. The team's resilience will definitely be tested. Will they hang their heads and give up on their goal of making a trip to Bowling Green, or will they rise to the occasion and become a TEAM to be reckoned with?

That STINKS. I sure hope he recovers fully and gets a chance at the next level.

Let's hope both Weaver and Tillman recover fully from their injuries. Two weeks into the season and 3 of the Mr. Football hopefuls have struggled out of the gate.

That sucks. Heal fast, guys.

FHS will still be FAASSST! But this is bad news hope this young man recovers, I wanted to see him do big things for my Cardinals.

First Tillman Now Weaver:idunno:...cant win for losing.
