Campbell took the Championship tonight, McGovney played a great game and Scott struggled at just about every position. Guard play was not good, PG has been out since last Tuesday with a concussion and not sure he was ready tonight? Crazy night, Upsets in Dixie vs Lloyd and Cooper over Boone. That's why you play the game. But hey, keep your head up Eagles, you are still in the Regional next week!

I'm loving it! Just got to close it out tomorrow at Campbell and hopefully, may get some notice.

Congrats Eagles, glad you pulled it out, had to leave the game early...

I guess it would appear that way with starting PG out more than half the game, starting senior guard out and Jackson playing at about 85%. I guess Scott will have to step up and do what they need to do or 'better luck next year'... Good Luck to Highlands, Brossart and Campbell! Oh and yes, I guess luck was on our side today, considering we drew 3rd out of the three team (Brossart, CC, then Scott)

Wouldn't say smelling like roses, they had no business losing the game to Brossart, up by 7 to 9 the whole game and had a lapse with 2 minutes to go. Hope Scott can get healthy by the finals, Leading scorer and their only Senior hurt.

So happy for the Eagles, feel like they deserve the #1 seed in the 37th. They were 3 seconds from winning it out right, got to close out games! Good luck to all in their Districts!!!

This says it all! Scott is still having trouble closing out games. It's crazy that Coach Carr will have them playing flawless in post-season, or at least I hope!

Tough one to see slip away! Brossart tightened the defense with about 2:30 to go with a 1-3-1 and Scott had a couple turn-overs and missed free-throws, that did them in. Proud of the Eagles, they haven't been given a chance all season and to lose their only Senior before the game (injury), they were where they needed to be until the run out by Saunders with 10 seconds to go and the foul (& 1). Gotta box-out!

Scott controlled the game for about 31 of 32 minutes and it came down to fundamentals at the end. No box out after a missed free throw, Brossart with the stick back to win with 1.8 to go and then Scott didn't even throw the ball in! Tough one to see slip away!

Scott by 5 with a score in the mid 50s... Scott puts a complete game together and locks up #1 seed! Lets go Eagles!

Scott played well as a unit tonight... :dancingpa Free-throws were an issue though, I'd like to know the team stat on that tonight. Not good. They did have pretty good guard play tonight and that was the difference in this game. Great Job Eagles!

That is crazy!

Great win for Scott! Scott plays to their strengths no matter what the other team is doing. Carr slowed it down when he needed to and stepped it up when needed to. Call it boring if you want, it's smart basketball! As for the district site, everyone in NKY knows it's by far a "neutral site"... Lace em up and lets go, good luck to all teams in the 37th

So proud of the young Eagles tonight, they never quit. After falling down 14 in first half, could not buy a bucket. Fought back in second half after being dow 17. They cut it to 3 less than 2 min to go. 2 key misses / turnovers at end. I think the Eagle are ready to storm into district play.

Scott still hasn't played a district game yet... When they start losing games that count, then we'll talk! Only one loss in the 10th region so far to the # 1 team (Clark)... This was a game till the midway point in the third. Game one of 7 straight on the road, this is the toughest stretch of the year for Scott.

Out rebounded, out hustled, out played. What next. Oh Dixie, hopefully we (Eagles) will bring some toughness.

He's the best score that I've seen this year, at least against the Eagles. He hit from just about every spot in the half court and may have even made a half court shot if he shot one... They will be tough to beat!!! Eagles keep ya head up, with all new starters we are right where we need to be going into District soon.

Amen to that! They will be ok The loss at Holmes, they controlled till last 1:45... Loss vs Franklin County, they had it till the last :05. They are still learning to close out games, should be a fun January!
