Scott gets more than doubled in the rebound department, and SK shoots 50 percent from Three-point range. There's your ballgame.

I was impressed with SK and their depth. Beers started the game on a 10-2 run and never looked back. Chambers started the game 4-4 from outside and that really got the others going. SK was simply tougher at both ends and that was the difference. They got Nick Jackson in foul trouble and that allowed them to pretty much do whatever they wanted down low. I was also impressed with SK's transition game. They got out and ran a lot and were able to get a lot of easy buckets.

 

Scott trimmed the lead to 10 in the third quarter but that was the closest they'd get.

This was my third time seeing Scott this season and I have never seen a Brad Carr coached team get outhustled and outtoughed on a consistent basis. My concern would be that they don't compete for loose balls and rebounds. This group of players doesn't seem to have bought into that tough mentality that Scott has had in past years.

Nice win by SK, but here is my question..does Scott have a bench at all? Every box score I see there is only 5 or 6 names listed.

Could not agree more with what you said. I have been shocked when I have seen them play this season. I think they are going in the wrong direction to be honest!

They are young/inexperienced. They really miss Kellen Smith's attitude as much as his ability. In the past, they've always had one or two guys that just really get after it, and are hard nosed and pull everybody along with them. There is talent, but they will struggle until someone steps up into a leadership role.
