  1. Agreed! Complacency and Coaching got them the 1 and out last year. However, I do feel like with the tougher schedule they will be more prepared for the post season. Go Raiders!
  2. It's great to hear that Watts is healing up good. Knowing him he has kept his conditioning up and will be ready to go when it is game time!(Assuming the Dr. clears him)
  3. They will be talented but young on the frontline. Those young players will have to be able to produce to help Watts. They will also need Wright to play solid at PG. The Raiders will be solid and should go deep into the postseason.
  4. Agree! I know that one major school has contacted him and will be watching his development over the next 2 yrs and have heard a rumors of a couple of more high level schools inquiring about him.
  5. I agree! Gavin Dunagin from Wayne Co. will probably be in the top 5 also.
  6. Boyle Definitely won it in '95. They beat us McCreary in the Finals behind the hard throwing Noel.
  7. Lincoln vs Wayne in the Finals. Lincoln going to Rupp.
  8. I was sitting right behind the Somerset bench the entire game and didn't hear anything inappropriate. There were a couple of kids heckling them, but you get that anywhere you go. There wasn't any cursing or name calling. Aren't you supposed to try to fight through screens or should you just let them come off of the screen and get an easy basket. It looked like the players setting the screens needed to be a little tougher when they set them.
  9. 45th Champ - Lincoln Runner up- Boyle 46th Champ - West Jess Runner up- East Jess 47th Champ - Somerset Runner up - Casey 48th Champ - McCreary Central Runner up - Wayne 12th Region Champs McCreary Central
  10. With the way Wayne is playing right now and McCreary carry the momentum from two quality wins (Cumberland & Somerset) it could be a Barn Burner for the 48th district championship. Barring any 1st round upsets.
  11. Making excuses for losing is ridiculous. Trying to justify a loss accomplishes nothing. I think you take the loss and try to learn from it and try to not let the same mistakes beat you twice. I don't know what happened to the Raiders when they lost to Green Co. because I wasn't there. But I do think you have to show up to play every night to play and if you don't you can get beat by anyone. I am with SSF on the Raider's chances against this team if they were to meet on a neutral floor. The Raiders were quick enough inside to cause the big guys from Cumberland fits. Granted we didn't have an answer to Desmond Johnson on the inside and he was what really got them back in the game in the second half.
  12. I may have the final score incorrect as this was second hand info.
  13. I'm not for sure what the final score was because my 2 yr old daughter decided to vomit on my wife with 4 min to go. So needless to say we made an early exit. It started out with Central taking a double digit lead, but Cumberland fought back and took the lead early in the 4th. Central tied it up and won it in OT.:thumb:
  14. Not for sure the final score but McCreary Central (12th) beats Cumberland (13th) in OT. :thumb:
  15. Would it have really made a difference? It should be a great game tonight! Go Raiders!!!!
