It was 84-71... Watts had 38 for MC and Cosby led JTown with 22.

The Raiders jumped out to a 7-0 lead, but couldn't keep the Chargers at bay for long. The Chargers got the lead and stretched it out to 15 before the Raiders made a run to narrow it back down to 5. The Chargers took a 48-39 lead into locker room at the end of the half. The Chargers stretched the lead out to 20, but the Raiders fought back to get it back down to 13. Jtown's press really caused the Raiders alot of problems and was the difference in the game. I was really proud of the way the Raiders hung tough and played with a lot of heart today.:thumb: I'm glad to see Rob has the Raiders coming together at the right time. They will be a tough out for anyone in the post season!

The Raiders looked like a totally different TEAM last night. Defensively the best I have seen them all year. Offensively they played very unselfish. This definitely didn't look like the same team that had been in the slump over the last month. The Raiders were led in scoring by Watts 20, Roark 20, Dixion 14, and Schrock 12. Nine players got into the scoring column for the Raiders. Welcome Back Raiders!!!!:ylsuper::thumb:

Spurlin really looked good last night. The Raiders were just a little late getting there to help Watts when Spurlin was posting up on the block. The Raiders mounted a little run there in the 4th to cut it to 7, but couldn't get any closer. Congrats to the Pats!

Agreed!! Watts, Coach Jones, and the rest of the Raiders should be playing and coaching with a chip on their shoulder. They should be hungry for some post season success. If they don't then they will be beat the 1st game of the District again..

With the talent he has had the last few years he has yet to produce in the post season. Someone needs to take the blame for not getting these kids to reach their potential. I hope he can get the Raiders up to par before tournament time and this won't be a topic for conversation. The talent is there Rob just needs to get the best out of his players. Pretty good rankings... One more good win to add to McCreary is the win over a top 3 team in the 14th in Perry County Central. They will rematch this Saturady in the Laurel County Hoopfest. The match up with Lincoln should be another great game out of a growing rivalry over the last few years. Hopefully, the Raiders are starting to get hot after their 2 good showings @ East last weekend.

When they played @ McCreary this year I thought looked really good. Has their coach recovered from his accident?

I thought Watts had a really good showing in the Republic Bank Classic @ LC. It's hard not to get overlooked in the area he plays in...

Unfortunately I have to agree. Watching them this year it seems that they play to the competition. What I mean is if their opponent is a very good team they step up to the challenge, but if it is a team that they are suppose to beat they seem complacent. Their schedule thus far has been a lot tougher this year so I did expect more losses than last year. I think they will get this thing turned around.
