This game didn't really affect the standings as Southwestern and McCreary were already set to meet, along with Wayne and Monticello. The Warriors are playing great ball, however. I'm showing them 13-8, with nine wins in their last eleven games. They are 100 times better than when they played in Lancaster on December 5.

 

Wayne, on the other hand, has lost six straight. What's going on in Monticello?

I think that Wayne threw all they had at the Warriors tonight I've seen them play a few times this year and they really didn't look all that impressive and its not the typical Rodney Woods' team that you usually see play. I'm going to say that for the 4th year in a row its going to be a Southwestern vs Wayne County for the 48th district championship.

I agree with you that things are not typical in Rodneyville but it puzzles me why Wayne County would throw everything they had at Southwestern when it's very possible that the two will meet in a couple of weeks for a district championship. I understand that Wayne would want to get a win to get out of the funk they are in and that no coach would try to not win a game but I can't see putting everything into this game when it really only affects your win/loss record and may give your future opponent something to prepare for.

I think you're right in that all three are equal. The only difference that I see, right now, is that Southwestern is getting much better, while Wayne and McCreary aren't showing near as much improvement.

Right on!!:thumb: Southwestern has won 10 of their 12 games. The Warriors' are averging 53.5 points a game while holding their opponets to only 48.7 points a game. This is obviously a much improved team from last years 5-25 team and seeing them play each and every game this year I think that they get better with every game. This week is going to be a good test for Schulz and company as they have a "NBA schedule" playing Monday,Tuesday,Thursday and possibly Friday if they can get Lynn Camp to reschedule the make-up game for then. So keep on keepin' on Warriors.

Southwestern and Lynn Camp have Friday open so they are trying to get the game rescheduled for then.
