One of the 12th regions best players in Ethon Spurlin leads the Pats to a 70-54 win over the Raiders of McCreary Central. Spurlin finished with 32 points tonight. Watts led the Raiders with 22 points.

Lincoln's senior point guard Trevor Edgington had 15 to complement Spurlin's 32!

 

& Junior center Dillan Allison chipped in with 11

Spurlin may have just made a statement for player of the year in the 12th region. He defended Watts all night and played great all night.

Watts could not guard Spulin tonight as he dominates for the Pats and stakes claim to the best in the 12th region.

From the KHSAA scoreboard, there's a big game against Garrard County in a few days that should go a long way towards staking that claim. Should be a good one.

Offers from over a dozen schools. But he hasn't verbally committed to any of them.

Big win for LC. Did a great job of shutting down Shrock. He was held scoreless in the first half. Spurlin did a good job on Watts, however Watts missed a lot of wide open jumpers.

 

MCC had no answer for LC in the paint area. LC is getting hot at the right time.

McCreary season is not looking good at this point. Seems like big games like this gives them fits. Has the preseason #1 beaten anyone in the region that is a top team?

This win runs LC's region record to 10-2. Their only losses in the region were to Danville in a holiday tournament (doesn't count toward distric record) and a blow out loss to Garrard County a couple weeks ago in Lancaster.

 

The Raiders got out to a 5-0 lead, then LC went on an 11-0 run an never looked back. I think Spurlin cemented himself as the best player in the 12th tonight.
