Wow. That's a huge win for the Ads. 45th District is really strong this year. You can make a strong case that all four teams have a shot to win the district this year.

I was at the game...Danville had a 12 point lead under 7 mins to go...MC came back to take the lead with 10 secs...Taylor missed a shot and Raynes put it back in for the win...

Danville has only four wins, but man, those wins look nice:

 

1. Clay County

2. Lincoln County

3. Boyle County

4. McCreary Central

Congratulations to Danville on a super win. Just goes to show that anyone can win this region. Time will tell.

I didn't attend this game. I have no idea how it went.

 

But Danville has beaten the top notch teams in this region. It just goes to show that ANY team can win this region.

The Danville fans stormed the floor after the game winner was hit. there was still time on the clock, isn't this a tech. foul?

This is a big stepping stone for Danville. I think if they play as a team for 32 minutes they can play with anyone.

Yes. They likely are the favorite. The Ads play Somerset in the first round, with Burgin and Monticello in the other semifinal. The winner would then meet for a trip to Richmond.

Its early and they have plenty of time to right the ship but I'd have to say that McCreary Central at only 9-6 has to be the biggest disappointment in the 12th Region thus far. And the Admirals must be greatly improved if inconsistant.

Unfortunately I have to agree. Watching them this year it seems that they play to the competition. What I mean is if their opponent is a very good team they step up to the challenge, but if it is a team that they are suppose to beat they seem complacent. Their schedule thus far has been a lot tougher this year so I did expect more losses than last year. I think they will get this thing turned around.
