Doesn't seem to be many DI players in state, look at the gap between Hood UK and Ballou Morehead St and looks to be another gap after that. And for next season don't see any Kentucky kids on the radar for Calipari.

Boone County had more success than anybody else against them this year and they return alot of thier players next year.

The stats that were giving for the Sweet16 on KHSAA before the tournment started showed Cov-Holmes avg 26.7 per game which rank 16th. Obvouisly they have players that are tall and can jump, so it just dont add up.

Very interesting subject when you talk about rebounding and Cov-Holmes. On paper you would call anyone foolish to think that a Bulldog would lead the 9th region in rebounding next year. I mean looking at thier stats going into the Sweet Sixteen they entered the tournment as the worst rebounding team. Thier leading rebounder Pittman only had 6.3 a game, which wont get you into the top 5 for any region, and yet during the tournment Holmes leads all teams with the most rebounds! So what happened? Did the players learn about blocking out all of a sudden or was the coach sandbagging on the stats?

Cumberland County will return most if not all of thier starters.

Congrads to Cov-Holmes. They did what many on this board had predicted them to do, I had my doubts, but was obvoiusly wrong! Great job and should have a season similar to this next year. I dont think you can give Central enough praise! Nobody saw this coming! I know it was mentioned that they started slow because of thier football players and they were alot better than thier record, but they almost won the state title! Wow, well done young men and great job coaches.

So far Holmes seems to be the best team, with Eastern not far behind. But still a couple of other teams that can win it.

Grayson, because of thier defense.

Adair Co couldn't hit anything early, got down never could recover, hard to come back against a team like Grayson County. Good luck to the Cougars, I think you got a real good chance to make the final 4. Hate to see the Indians go out like this, worst game of the year! But they had a good year anyway, good luck to the seniors.

I think Darren Ballou is as good as any big man in the state and suprized he didnt make 1st or 2nd team.

Is Josh Crawford a 100%, I think he was injuried last year? But his numbers are lower than what I expected this year.

I havent seen Mason County play. With him only avg 2 assist a gm and thier leading scoring, I assumed he was an shooting guard.

Elisha Justice it is, best PG in the state for the tournment and next season.

I thought about Justice as the #1 PG, but Ethan Faulkner has alot more assist.

I would say Eastern is better on the Defense and Corbin better on the Offense (especally half-court set)

Elliott Co, Adair Co, your small county schools will proably bring more than alot of your urban schools.

Who are the good ones? I proabley cant rate them very good cause I dont know all of them or have questions like does Vee Sanford play the PG?
