I think Holmes is the #1 team in this tourny, however I dont think they are playing as well as they did earlier in the season. I know they have bunch straight, but they have had a few close ones lately. (and I mean around 10 points not 1) So I will say LC pulls off the upset. Either way it will be a good one.

If Holmes plays the way they are capable they should win by a nice margin. I was there for both games today and I thought Christian County's press was better than Lex Caths. Dont see LC matching up with Holmes athleticism.

Hope to see Ricardo Johnson on Vee Sanford tomorrow. That would be a fun matchup and I think Rico would really frustrate Vee.

After watching both today, I just cant see LC pulling it off unless Holmes just completely falls flat on their face.

I voted for LC, but you are right. If Holmes plays the way they are capable they will win. I just think they have been a little off lately. However they have found a way to win.

Have seen both Holmes and LexCath play a couple of times each and the only player that can play with Holmes from LexCath is..... Vee Sanford. If Holmes puts the cuffs on Sanford, then LexCath can't beat Holmes.... Holmes will have to handle the ball well against LexCath, as LexCath has a very good press, but to press, you have to score... so I guess the question is, can LexCath score enough to press Holmes constanly throughout the game....

Got to go with Holmes in this one. They may not have looked pretty at times, but it is all about advancing. I see them coming to play tomorrow realizing they are playing for a trip to the semi's. Holmes by 10

I got a pretty big smile on my face when I read it as well. But who knows, I am sure noone thought LC would beat SC, I just don't see Holmes letting this one get away! :thumb:

Holmes is the real deal fella's those of you in attendance today seen a very balanced attack, but Holmes has 3 guys that at any time can take over offensively in Pittman, Rico, and Riley. Defensively they are sound across the board, and if they get hot from outside it could get ugly. If they can hold Vee Sanford to a good game instead of a surreal game Holmes should win.

The smart money would say Holmes, but they haven't played well in the regional or state tournament so far. But then again, they should be due for a breakout game. Might just happen against LC.

Interesting Saturday morning semi-final if Holmes makes it vs either SV or EC.

What was so funny about my post? I gave Holmes their due, and even said they would win if they play up to their potential. So do you have a low sense of humor or something?
