got ya. what if they have never played before and have very limited skills? Would it be better to put them on JV to give them some playing time, or have them rarely get in a varsity game?

What do you guys think of seniors, who have never played varsity, and or never played bassketball at all, playing JV? Since they are seniors wouldnt it benifit them so they could get more playing time? What do you guys think/

I think we are hard on them. I mean most of them do their best, and I have handed refs their checks, and they are paid very little for what they have to put up with.

Very nice post. It seems that if we Elliott County fans are on here too much we are dogged for it; and now that we are not on as much we are dogged for it. Goes to show the dislike for small town schools by people who are fans of traditional powers.

I think he meant that he was a fan of Elliott before the start of the big run, and he is right. I know him and know that he has been to about every Elliott game for the last 10-12 years, and he is not even originally from Elliott.

Should be close. I think Elliott is better then projected. Ill say Elliott by 3 due to home court advantage.

I agree. With all the arguing and jabbing we do at one another before a game, we are man enough (and women enough) to say congratulations to the both teams. Thats what this game is all about.:thumb:

Congrats to Holmes, you guys are the real deal. Also cograts to my Elliott County Lions for a great game and a wonderful four year ride. Before these boys Elliott only had only won one regional game in their history, and now they have given us three in a row. Nothing to hang your head about boys, we are all SO proud of you for what you have done for our little community. Good luck to Holmes and Central tonight in the championship game.

Elliott beat Shelby Valley in the opening game two years ago, then lost to Warren Central in the second round.

My Z will have it and I think a Lexington station is going to show it as well.
