I agree. With all the arguing and jabbing we do at one another before a game, we are man enough (and women enough) to say congratulations to the both teams. Thats what this game is all about.:thumb:

Congrats to Holmes, you guys are the real deal. Also cograts to my Elliott County Lions for a great game and a wonderful four year ride. Before these boys Elliott only had only won one regional game in their history, and now they have given us three in a row. Nothing to hang your head about boys, we are all SO proud of you for what you have done for our little community. Good luck to Holmes and Central tonight in the championship game.

Elliott beat Shelby Valley in the opening game two years ago, then lost to Warren Central in the second round.

My Z will have it and I think a Lexington station is going to show it as well.

I wrote this to begin with, but maybe your right. Sorry for jumping the gun. Just so used to people trying to put Elliott down by saying their players were held back. I think those state tourny nerves and emotions are just running a little high right now.No it wasnt just a question. It was just another attempt to dog Elliott. Elliott having players held back has been a hot topic on here a few times, so its not new.

What usually doesnt go our way? And yes when we get hammered and told we cant beat anyone and that we will get nowhere as we have been told by the big school fans all year long, perhaps we do become a little defenseful. And the exposure is why we have so many Elliott haters. Again what was I crying about. Please tell me. What didnt go our way? You was the one crying that the refs "gave," Elliott the game. I think the problem is the fact that Elliott haters have nothing left to try and slam in our face and imagining things in their heads. But oh well. Sorry for the way you feel.:thumb:

For the last time in this four year run by our wonderful Elliott County boys, we are the underdog. All I can say, and the feeling I am getting, is "Hoosiers."
