While I can not answer as well as spindoc, just let me say what I have heard about certain transfers, there are reasons they transfer, and son if you watched any summer ball you wouldn't have mentioned if Baker or Williams can guard Barker. As spindoc so elonquently put it NO WAY.

Young man teams are led by guards, check out Elliott County sometime, Baker is a fine player but, he has to be given the ball and Greenup's guard will not do that:thumb:

Well said Doc, young men don't have to look to the coach for leadership but, they do have to look around at their teammates for leadership and this years seniors have not shown it on the basketball court or the gridiron, granted they have on the diamond, but thats 1 on 1 when you step into the box. The Baker kid tries to lead but thats hard to do when the ball isn't in your hands that often. It comes down to one person to push the others but if you don't push yourself why should the others follow.

Duck I do respect you, but even with the starters Raceland lost GC has no match up with Boyles or Barker they have proven that the last 2 years, an until this actually becomes a TEAM instead of 5 individuals I see them no better than 3rd in the 63rd no disrespect intended just honest observation from someone who has no dog in the fight.

Raceland 63 Paris 12 I hate to post that score but Paris is the weakest team Raceland has played so far an if the other scores are any indication there maybe nothing Coach Randy can do to stop the carnage except take a knee and to me that would be worse than scoring.

I agree with all the above posts if anyone can beat Elliott its East, I saw them alot this summer and they looked like men playing boys.

Every parent wants their son to play for a winning program and a winning coach with a reputation of making fine young men and with this in mind an the academic programs Russell and Raceland have to offer is it any wonder GC parents see these 2 schools as viable options to the turmoil of the county school?

I would put Lewis solidly at #2 right behind Raceland.

There is no doubt that Coach Mays will try to embarass alot of schools this year IMO knowing that after this the program will take a drastic turn downward. My point was that no matter how good Raceland's football program has been Coach Vanderhoof does not leave his starters in with 5 minutes to play up by 50, but given the chance IMO with the way Coach Mays trys to run the score up there would be pay back on the gridiron.And just for my knowledge if Rose Hill as small as it is is starting football why not Elliott?

That may well happen, as Raceland returns Boyles and Barker, and most Ram fans can't wait for the football team to beat Elliott by 60 oh wait MY bad sorry, my fault.:sssh:
