I heard that Vanderhoof was not playing this year. Brooke Keeton from Raceland should be on this list for sure, and maybe Kayla Parsley from Russell.

Kasey Lewis from Raceland is the sleeper, though she should not be after the season she had last year, and Rachael is not playing because of her knees

Parsley is a good player, but no way should she considered one of the top players in the region.

I might agree a little but not "NO WAY" She did average a double/double her soph. season. I agree on Lewis, she had a decent year last year. Look forward to seeing if Keeton from Raceland has improved any.

Parsley from Russell should definetly be on the list, as should Lewis from Raceland.

I think Keeton from Raceland is a wild card though. I think she is getting some d-1 looks and is very deserving.

I guess since Ashland, Russell, Raceland, and Elliott Co. all have 2 players in the top 10 (or should have according to some), they should probably be expected to win the regional championship?? And for what its worth, Jennifer Brockman was unguardable in the regional championship when she decided to go to the basket, and is probably the best on the ball defender in the 16th.

Rowan County is the team to beat until someone dethrones them. Brockman, Martin, and Riddle may be the core but they have plenty of other players capable of having big nights.
