  1. It looks like Coach Borchers will right the ship and with other area schools losing great senior classes last year and at the end of this year. Experience will play a huge part next year. Dont be too surprised if next year the kids from Cooper find a way into the playoffs. They have good talent and skill postions if they can get some big boys on that line NKY 6a schools may want to watch out next year. Experience is huge and by playing at a varsity level for a whole year a lot of these sophmores will be more then capable to fill in role for next season. I'm sure he will..
  2. Ludlow 20 Carroll Cty 7
  3. :thumb: :thumb:Agree. If used properly and he keeps his focus he could definitely be a Top 5 Div. III Player this coming year.
  4. :laugh:This one will be over quick. Conner by 50 plus...
  5. Ludlow surprises the host school and their hometown fans 21 to 20..
  6. Williamson certainly has the skill to be a top 5 player in Div III if used properly and he maintains his focus..
  7. Matt Long has stepped up to help out with a difficult situation and should be commended. Unless everyone knows the reason for him to fill in for Coach Woolf they should probably leave this thread alone. Even I know everything isn't meant to be discussed on BGPs. Good luck to everyone involved.
  8. :thumb:Well said. I'm sure the KHSAA would not approve of them not being able to play on the football field. The argument that the field isn't big enough has grown old and it really makes the people making such suggestions look rather ridiculous IMO.
  9. :confused:Why aren't they playing on the All Purpose Facility that sits behind the school? It isn't just for football now is it?
  10. Just stating what has become very obvious to all rather quickly.:ylsuper:
  11. Good to hear. Good luck to the Panthers and Coach Hornsby. Sounds like things are going in the right direction down there much the same way they did under Coach Hensley..
  12. Interesting character who does things in a different way but has had a certain measure of success. Bellevue would do well to get him.
  13. Nice article on the Ludlow Panthers and Coach Hornsby on kypost.com a couple of days ago. Seems the players are very receptive and responding positively to the new coach and his staff. Good luck to the Panthers this season..
  14. Anyone heard the name Mikle Herald being mentioned for this job?
  15. What about a superintendent who lived in one district, worked in another district and sent is son to play basketball to a completely different school district. I will let everyone guess who that might have been..lol
  16. :thumb:You should be...:
  17. :confused:Please..I haven't met a football coach yet that had anything worthwhile to say after 2 hours.
  18. :thumb:Agree, 2 hours per practice is plenty with coaches that know what they are doing. You start to lose a kids attention after that.
  19. Good to hear that things are going well with the new coaching staff. I think they will find that their 2nd choice for the job will turn out to be a much better choice then the coach that they originally pursued as one new school will probably soon discover in a very short amount of time. Go Mustangs!!!
