I think this will be a game of give and take. Seems like these too come ready for war each year and will sure to be one this friday. Will be a hard fought contest I am sure. Games like this are what make h.s. football.

This must have been absent this week during preparation and during the game last night.

Glad I wasnt the only one that felt this way when the game was complete. I was ashamed for the Knox faithful. My wife and I were leaving the stadium and the players were cursing, throwing water bottles, throwing the helmets to the ground. Just outa control and that was how they played as well with that type of attitude on the field.

We can always count on you for a word of encouragement for when these kids get on here and read this. Good job. :thumb:

First, I would like to say from the unslot of this game was absolutely horribly called. I am not one to get on here and speak negatively but the sportmanship from Knox hi/lowing the Bell players was something of a disgrace. Then, I noticed a hold on just about every offensive play that Knox ran. Bell's players jerseys would be stretched to the point u could see the entire tops of there shoulder pads. Bell's offense never had a chance to even come close to getting any type of rythem due the poor officiating and Knox's divin defense. :fight:

I think with a few adjustments Clay wins this one. Only thing that worries me is can Clay stop/contain NL's QB.

Before the game was played I kinda took all your post that on your behalf you was taking it awfully serious. Did you honest think the the Bell County kids would come not ready to play. Go job Bell County:D

I know thats hard to understand but I did say "BASICALLY". By the way, when people look at the Win/Loss record they will not look and see if a certain team had all or most of the players in or out.

Winning over Pulaski isnt making much of a statement considering how they have played the last two weeks. But to the Rockets credit seems they are playing pretty well and getting after people right now.

Especially when we are talkin about a Middlesboro team that gets basically shut out last week.

I hope all we win as handlely as everyone is predicting us to.

Panthers have there hands full the first Leonidas not to mention looking 3 weeks down the road to much stiffer competion.

Just from what I saw from the stands Friday night. We have some major holes defensively and we didnt look to be very aggressive either. Then offensively we looked awful at times.

Clay will have its work cut out for them in this one but may be able to pull this one out late in the fouth with their QB playing well.

Now I am just going on what I seen last Friday at the scrimmage and as a fan. I dont see this Bell County team beating anyone early by 50.

I can tell you this, if they go to Harlan Co. They will not beat Bell before they graduate. Both are good players and will contribute to the program just like every other player has for Dudley, team will always be first. Smoothun you need to ask some of the other good players that played at Bell and they will tell you its all about the team.( Scott Chaney, Shawn Robbins, Phillip Green, and 25 others that wished that they could have carried it 25 times a game. It will not happen at Bell with no RB.)

Folks you need not to worry about Bell. They will play anyone in Tenn. or Va. Harlan Co. is the one that needs to step up to the plate and play a power house. Powell Va. is not a Powell house and will not play Bell, they have tried to schedule them for the past 3 years. The Super and everyone else in Harlan Co. better check with the Head Coach before trying to schedule games.

I believe that Bell Co. won the State Championship in 1990 and Bell Co didn't have a middle school team in the early 90's?

Breaking news in South Laurel. Big time transfer from another local 13th region team. He will make South a State Championship contender.

Is Bowling better than Cashen, this time last year everyone was saying that Cashen was going to Purdue, Ohio University and others schools 0 offers. Folks wake up and understand that these guys are good high school players not college impact players. I wish that every kid in the mountains could go to D1, not happening. Union and Cumberland College go south(Florida-Georgia) to get athletes to play for them.

Bowling is 5-9 at best, great feet, The Lewis kid is 6'0 6'1 and a much better prospect for the next level. Both are very good high school QB's.
