Well, I played against the Birds three times while I was in h.s. and was 2-1 and we never had what you would call speed. So, I say good coaching, hard work, discipline and a little size is a good formula for giving the birds all the want!
Well, since you are a supporter of the program, so it seems. :thumb:
I am sure that you saw all or most of our varsity players standing along beside us fans in the corner of the endzone cheering on the JV bunch on the goal line stand in the forth quarter. Thanks for your concern.
I beleive those too together are enough to give the birds trouble. Especially if a team can run off tackle and run a little playaction to keep them honest.
The weather was indeed horrible but the JV kids were very excited and to me were very happy and glad to be out there and showed some fire of keeping the shutout in-tack. I dont think LC players cared if they were/werenot out there.
Seems like that statement best fits the bill here with WC, JC Alumni. Seems like each week there defense is steping their game up a level. Coach Black and company must be doing a tremendious job keeping them focused.
I am sure happy this game will be played on the field that way all the professionals like Rebel dont get to dictate who wins.
If you and your rebels gets pasted LC we will cya on Log Mountain in about a month.
Didnt watch that game between Harrison and M.S. but if Southern came close to winning? Wow, they have to have a lot of weaknesses. Sounthern may be one of the worst teams I have seen this entire year.
