Final

That must have been an excellent game, someone tell us more.

Before anything is said about the game, I'm not sure exactly how many people saw this, and i apologize in advance, but total disrespect from coach Mills when he was jawing at two bell co. players while they were on the field waiting for a call, and also nearly stepping right into the Bell Co. huddle arguing with two Bell Co. coaches during a penalty call on the field. Total disrespect, that game was littered with flags, both teams looked a bit flat. Knox Centrals passing game worked well all night on the Bobcat D, but just couldn't punch it in. Bell Co. of course, was led by Spencer Greer the whole way.

It was mostly a game of cheap shots and yellow flags. The refs let the game get out of hand from the start. Was very long and drawn out. Knox came to play tonight and in my opinion whipped Bell every where but the score board. Bell as usual came out in there arrogant and one man style of play and could have easily left with a loss. Dud has got a lot of work cut out for him finding a senior that is going to step up and say enough is enough. Could be, an under classman will have to do the job. Hopefully the post game butt chewing sank in for Bell.

I'm hesitant to say it after a 21-0 loss, but I thought KC was every bit the equal of Bell with the exception of ball security and a couple of breaks they had no control over. Tonight, anyway.

 

Btw, I saw no interaction between Coach Mills and anyone on the Bell team other than the handshake and pat on the back he shared with Coach Hilton at the end of the game. I have no qualms with it but thought it unusual that Bell threw into the endzone twice in the final seconds of the game.

I listened to some of the Knox Central broadcast and there seemed to be a lot of controversial calls, reversing of calls, etc. that went against Knox Central. I would guess that may have led to his actions............but I was not there.

They will probably see one if Boyle and Bell get to the Semi's. Boyle held Danville to negative yards rushing tonight.

I neglected to say I thought Bell showed a fine, well coached team tonight. Good luck the rest of way and hopefully we'll meet again in November.

Seriously, we knew the opening 3 games of Clay, Corbin, and Bell back to back to back would be tough. I think KC will be a better team for it.

Was that about the time Bell fumbled to Knox, the refs huddled, then gave the ball to Knox, then after several minutes changed the call to no fumble?

 

I think Wayne was just making sure they charged the timeout to Dudley while the play was reviewed in the booth. :lol:

 

Seriously, I saw Mills jawing with the refs after that little scene, I seriously doubt he would say anything to Bell's players so I'm going to drop this subject.
