Paris took away Montgomery's roll players and inside game. Down the stretch I thought the other 4 players on the floor watched and expected Maggie to carry them through the 4th quarter. Not a good thing if they expect to repeat as 10th region champs. I give all the credit to Paris and Coach Brooks for what they did defensively to get back in the ballgame. Once again Paris' shooting woes hurt them. Good luck to the Ladyhounds against Clark Co..

Rainey looks very athletic. I asked because Montgomery is an uptempo team that can negate an inside player if she isn't athletic. Does not look like that will be a problem. The only thing worse than MCHS's uniforms is any branch of the military that tucks their pants down in their boots. Semper Fidelis! Go Lady Indians!

I agree. Coach Brooks always has a competitive team that will get after you for 4 quarters. They will be a factor in their district, I wouldn't want to play them in the first round. How that all plays out will be interesting. Good luck Coach Brooks and the Lady Greyhounds.

One of the biggest differences I saw tonight is Montgomery's ability to knock down outside shots and Paris's inability to do so. This fact and Montgomery's dominance inside will go a long way in the 10th region. Once again the 10th comes down to Mason and Montgomery.

Maybe the two schools need to consolidate and find a new rival. Seemed to work for Mercer Co. and Mason Co.. Harrison Co. is a natural rivalry and they would still be in the same district. Combining the young talent of the two schools possibly could make them competitive @ that level. Maybe not the level of Cov. Cath. but they would be able to compete.

I agree with jahearme, the luster of the Paris/Bourbon match up has deteriorated even within the community. While I'd say it will be a good game the magnitude of the event has gone way down. Paris in a blown out 35-13.

I do agree that Rob Maggard was the best QB in that system. Who was the best RB in that system? James Clark or Lanie Fomas?
